The SC RN-Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator Float is responsible for assigned resident's MDS/RAI care plan implementation, completion, transmission, and auditing through the Triple Check process. What you'll be doing: Schedule and complete the MDS and RAP's according to the State and Federal guidelines. Input data into the computer system. Assist and train other members of the interdisciplinary team to complete their portion of the MDS. Complete resident interviews as needed for completion of the MDS. Transmit MDS data to the State Department of Health. Aims testing Does Dr rounds, orders, consults, Participate on Fall committee and Psychosocial committee, Participate in the interdisciplinary care conferences. Does the initial nursing care plan and facilitates its implementation. Screen for Nursing Facility admits. . Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes. Meet the educational needs of patient/family/co-workers utilizing principals of teaching/learning. Delegate nursing care based on knowledge of staff qualifications/competency and patient care. Job Requirements Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing. Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate Nurse (G.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid. Experience: Basic MDS training preferred.
