The Quality Assurance Analyst II (Theatre Systems) ensures the quality and reliability of software used in theatres by developing and executing tests that identify issues before release. This role analyzes and documents defects, collaborates with developers to resolve issues, and maintains rigorous testing standards that protect system performance and guest experience. This role supports continuous improvement of test processes, automation, and documentation aligned with established quality frameworks.
This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.
What you will be doing:
* Design and execute test plans, test conditions, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
* Identify bugs and errors, document findings, and track resolutions through completion.
* Analyze test results and recommend improvements to testing methods and automation.
* Follow established quality and change management processes to reduce risk during releases or system changes.
* Support requirement analysis, test strategies, and test planning activities across the development lifecycle.
* Provide support during user acceptance testing and post-implementation review.
* Create, enhance, and debug automated test scripts using SmartBear TestComplete.
* Execute automated regression, system integration, and product testing.
* Run SQL queries to validate database results and support data accuracy.
* Capture application behavior through screen images and reporting tools.
* Maintain Quality Assurance (QA) documentation repositories, including test tools, job aids, and specifications.
* Track and report error frequency and severity to support quality decision-making.
* Maintain QA lab environments, including hardware, peripherals, network connectivity, installation, and configuration.
* Build and optimize relationships with IT teams, business partners, and vendor partners.
* Communicate test plans, progress, and risks clearly and proactively.
* Work independently and in a collaborative team environment while meeting deadlines.
* Perform setup and handling of theatre systems testing equipment, routinely lifting 25+ pounds.
What we need from you:
* Associate in Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant experience in software quality assurance.
* 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role or field theatre manager experience.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methods, and controls within technology delivery.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organization and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

* Experience testing point-of-sale systems or theatre system environments.
* Experience with SQL, database tools, and test automation platforms, ideally SmartBear TestComplete.

Cinemark Maintenance Employees repair and maintain the theatre, equipment, and property, creating a welcoming environment for our Guests. Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Employee include, but are not limited to, the following:
Repairs and maintains theatre and theatre property including tile, carpet floors, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls, wall coverings, partitions, drinking fountains, minor plumbing and electrical work, office furniture, auditorium seats, etc.
Keeps Cinemark-owned tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, orderly, and organized
Removes and disposes of trash, broken parts, and supplies from repair areas once completed
Cleans and organizes the designated Maintenance storage areas
Must be able to inspect theatre and theatre property to ensure that all is clean and in good working order for the opening of the next day's business
Coordinates with the General Manager on items to be repaired and/or maintained
Communicates any need for parts and supplies to General Manager
Keeps theatre keys on their possession and outside doors locked during non-operating hours
Guards against unauthorized personnel entering the building during Maintenance shift
Meets with outside vendors to grant building access and to direct them to designated work areas

* Assist with any Guest recovery and ensure positive Guest experiences.
* Maintain constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies & procedures.
* Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
* Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
* Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
* Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
Skills & Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
* Be able to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends.
