About the Role
Responsible for safely operating a fork truck in a warehouse and around pedestrians, refilling designated materials, and moving finished goods and raw materials.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Must be able to learn and comply with all Amcor Rigid Packaging's safety rules/regulations.
Responsible for wearing designated PPE.
Must be able to safely operate our fork trucks.
Responsible for conducting forklift pre-inspections at start of every shift. If moved to the forklift after the start of the shift, pre-inspection is to be completed at this time.
Perform safety audits and/or observations.
Must be able to learn and comply with all SOPs and JSAs related to Material Handling.
Keep assigned work areas clean, neat, organized, and free from safety hazards.
Keep raw materials stocked at the line and the packer stations.
Show-up for work on time and work all scheduled shifts.
Relieve packers for breaks and lunches.
Assist in shipping and receiving as needed.
Work in the automation cell to keep the equipment loaded with bags, boxes, tape, etc., unjamming the machines, and keeping them running.

Associate's Degree in Business Administration, or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience required.
0 - 2 years of related experience, experience in a full-service shipping environment preferred.
Must have hands on experience with both domestic and international shipping.
Physical Demands:
The role is mostly office-based but may spend some time standing and walking on the production floor.
May be required to operate a computer and/or other office devices.
Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
Predominately in a stockroom or warehouse environment with frequent exposure to the production floor and engineering lab.
While on the production floor or engineering lab, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as goggles.
Some travel may be required.

Schedule
Shift: 12-hour 2-2-3 straight night shift or day shift (6:55 - 7:10)
Work 3-4 days per week with schedules provided a full calendar year in advance

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you'll do:
Load and unload trailers of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and equipment
Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists using SAP
Inspect shipments and trailers for damage, contamination, or cleanliness
Stage outbound shipments according to assigned BOL and pick lists
Seal, secure, stretch wrap, and/or band materials as needed
Label inbound materials accurately and store in proper locations
Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and location updates
Maintain clean, safe, and organized dock and warehouse areas
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Support plant operations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or team leader
Follow all safety, GMP, Food Safety, and operational procedures
What We Want From You: Lead the Pack
Preferred qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Alignment with Amcor Core Values and teamwork mindset
Basic math, computer skills, and RF scanning proficiency
Ability to complete Amcor Forklift Certification and Shipping Handling training
Flexibility to work weekends when needed
Reliable attendance and commitment to working 12-hour shifts
Physical Requirements
Stand on and operate standup forklift for a full 12.25-hour shift
Work in high-heat or cold environments as required
Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment
