HPC/ML GPU Performance Architect:
AMD is looking for an outstanding technical contributor & lead to help optimize performance of AMD based next-generation GPU accelerators for HPC and Machine Learning. As a passionate and dedicated Server GPU Performance Architect in the MI SOC Architecture Team, you will optimize SOC performance by identifying opportunities across all parts of system architecture, spanning the application and related frameworks, driver, GPU core, memory & I/O subsystems. You will collect and analyze performance profiling data and traces to isolate performance bottlenecks, and share the insights to help drive features into the next generation of server GPUs and software stack components. THE ROLE:
AMD's Cores Organization delivers industry leading CPU's and caches that are the foundation of AMD's server, client, and gaming business. **Your role and responsibilities**
The Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Architect is a key member of the Delivery Practice leadership team. A Practice Director will work with project teams to assist with client advisory, scoping of implementations, solution design and overall engagement advisory for projects within Cloud ERP Financials. These activities include the following:

Delivery
* Lead the implementation of solutions in Oracle Cloud Financials ERP, providing oversight and hands-on contributions to the design, development and integration of the application.
* Contribute to and support the enterprise design and integration solutions between Oracle Cloud ERP application and other enterprise systems.
* Work closely and collaboratively with client stakeholders to understand their business requirements, provide strategic guidance and architect solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Cloud Financials.

* Working with the technical team, ensure that that performance of the application is optimized through fine tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that the solution meets the function and technical requirements, security standards and business specifications.
* Prepare functional documentation, including but not limited to architecture diagrams, designs specifications and user guides.
* Build up best practices within the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials solutions (e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Expenses, Cash Management, Fixed Assets)

* Facilitate initial discovery calls - assess and map customer needs to capabilities of the Oracle Cloud Financials applications
* Support development of Proposals and Statements of Work
* Conduct demos of Oracle Cloud Financials to prospective customers
* Stay current with all service offerings - cross application, cross-geography
* Stay current with Oracle products and offerings - attend conferences, webinars
* Working closely with the Delivery Director and Sales Team, design and propose realistic, implementable solutions that incorporate client requirements, software capability and future directions.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Post-secondary degree from an accredited institution (concentration in Finance or Accounting a plus)
* 7-10 years of experience as a delivery consultant and at least 3 years' experience as a senior delivery lead or Solution Architect. Must be able to lead effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials - GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Expenses, Taxes.
* Understanding of accounting processes and workflows and how it relates to the application and client business requirements.

What you'll be doing:

* Own performance bottleneck analysis, microarchitectural what-if evaluations, and trade-off recommendations.
* Define performance KPIs, PnP assumptions, and workload suites for early feasibility modeling.
* Lead post-silicon performance correlation, root-cause gaps, and update pre-silicon models to improve fidelity.
* Work closely with product management, architecture, and SoC design teams to influence product definition, PPA targets, and roadmap decisions.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
* Strong understanding of CPU/GPU microarchitecture, memory hierarchy, and SoC interconnects.
* Hands-on experience with performance simulators (gem5, proprietary, trace-driven frameworks).
* Deep experience with workloads-SPEC, industry vertical benchmarks, synthetic stressors.
* Strong scripting skills (Python, C++, MATLAB).
* Experience with ML, automotive, edge compute, industrial workloads.
* Familiarity with firmware, compilers, DV, and RTL design concepts.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
* MS/PhD in EE/CE/CS with experience in performance architecture or modeling experience.

THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Architect Lead to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD's product, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of Automotive, Networking, and Storage solutions. Internally, you'll work closely with system architects and engineering teams to define and drive differentiated, elegant platform solutions across diverse hardware and software.
Externally, you'll lead deep technical discussions with customers, architect solutions for their unique needs, Lead the debug of complex system issues and serve as the technical authority for customer programs. Success in this role requires the ability to connect the dots across domains to deliver high-performance, customized solutions.
You'll collaborate with key engineering and business stakeholders to align priorities, track progress, and drive critical actions to closure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Research, define, and drive FW/BIOS solutions for Automotive, Networking, and Storage applications.
* Serve as the overall systems engineer for strategic customer accounts, managing one or more programs per customer.
* Perform gap analyses and solution architecture during pre-design win engagements, influencing customers toward design wins.
* Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements across components and deliverables.
* Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout program execution, addressing complex technical challenges and ensuring cohesive solutions across domains.
* Analyze, debug, and root-cause issues on AMD processor-based platforms, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolutions.
* Train field sales and support teams on AMD product features and usage.
* Stay current with industry trends and offer recommendations to roadmap architects and development teams.
* Author technical papers, reference designs, and application notes for internal use, NDA customers, or public publication. Represent AMD at key technical and industry events.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Strong development experience in FW/BIOS (UEFI, Coreboot, EDKII)
* Strong background in security technologies and concepts
* Deep knowledge of OS fundamentals and Linux programming
* Exposure to virtualization technologies and hypervisors
* Broad system-level experience across processor, platform, BIOS, firmware, and applications
* Comprehensive technical knowledge across x86, SoC, platform hardware/software, BIOS/firmware, and tools, with the ability to connect the dots across domains and deliver a systems-level perspective
* Proven track record of customer enablement and product development support
