The AMD Strategic Silicon Solutions (S3) Business Unit is on the cutting edge of delivering the world's next custom solutions for gaming and other use cases. THE ROLE: We are in need of a Silicon Debug Engineer to debug top post-silicon issues with some of AMD's major APU customers. THE PERSON: You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, mixed signal system interactions, and verification/validation/debug in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other global engineers. You solve problems using theory, analysis, and hands-on experimentation when required. You are unafraid of learning in new technical areas and embrace the opportunity to take on ambiguous problems. Key Responsibilities: Technical customer interaction: Debug and resolution of customer silicon, hardware and software issues faced on AMD products Resolve customer questions about design and software functionality Assist with customer feature enablement Drive debug with internal cross functional engineering teams to replicate issue within AMD, create debug hypothesis and root-cause the failure Driving validation and debug with internal teams: Coordinate debug efforts across multiple functional teams to drive issues to close. Act as the "voice of the customer" when resolving issues Scope and execute the resolution of a wide variety of technical issues during design, verification, validation, qualification and production. Drive issues to closure with minimal PPM defects in production using understanding of silicon manufacturing, bench validation, and production test processes. Apply power integrity/signal integrity knowledge to trace electrical observations to architecture and firmware Scripting language experience: Python preferred. Also Perl, Ruby, Makefiles, shell Good understanding and experience in RTL/HDL languages and UVM concepts Good working knowledge of SystemC and TLM with some related experience is a plus Exposure to leadership or mentorship is an asset Desirable assets with prior exposure to video codec system or other multimedia solutions. Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise 10+ years of overall Oracle ERP experience with at least 5+ full-cycle implementations in Oracle Cloud Procurement, Sourcing, and Accounts Payable.4+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Applications with a focus on Source to Pay (S2P) modules. Preferred technical and professional experience Deep understanding of supplier lifecycle management, procurement processes, invoicing automation, and financial integration.Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Procurement Cloud, including Approval Workflows, Procurement Contracts, and Supplier Management.Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud security roles, data access models, and reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL).Ability to manage complex integrations, working with middleware and third-party systems.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.Oracle Cloud Procurement or Financials certification is a plus.Experience with Enterprise Architecture, MDM projects, and integrations with Oracle or non-Oracle MDM solutions.Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive process improvements.Prior experience in a professional services environment.
