The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing large-scale global SAP programs, particularly in the realm of finance, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions to drive operational efficiencies and financial process excellence. What you will be doing: The Sr. Director, Finance Transformation Program Management is part of the Finance Transformation organization and will report to the VP, Finance Transformation. This role will be responsible for delivering an enterprise solution for Amer Sports and our Brands through a successful SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role will lead the strategic transformation initiative to elevate Amer Sports with best-in-class technology, streamlined processes, and deliver deep informational insights to create value for our evolving business. Specific responsibilities include: Strategic Program Leadership: * Lead the strategic implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the organization, aligning technology solutions with overarching business objectives and finance transformation strategies. * Provide visionary leadership and strategic guidance to senior executives and finance stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage. * Utilize data-driven insights and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. * Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring clarity of purpose and effective execution of program milestones. * Help drive the global multi-band portfolio toward a successful scalable ERP solution with minimal customization. Finance Transformation Expertise: * Champion a culture of transformation and innovation, fostering optimized business solutions that are scalable for future growth. * Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable SAP solutions that enhance financial processes and decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement: * Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, finance leaders, and key stakeholders across the organization (i.e. Group IT function, PMO, Corporate functions, brand teams). * Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance linking business acumen to SAP S/4HANA capabilities in alignment with program objectives. Implementation Partner Management: * Effectively steer and manage implementation partners and external advisors to ensure alignment of project deliverables with business needs, driving accountability and transparency throughout the program lifecycle. Program Governance and Risk Management: * Establish robust program governance structures, including steering committees and governance boards, to ensure effective decision-making and issue resolution. * Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact program timelines, budget, or quality, implementing risk management strategies that safeguard project success. Change Management and Adoption: * Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to drive adoption of SAP S/4HANA solutions within the finance function and broader organization. * Champion organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: * Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of SAP S/4HANA implementation and finance transformation initiatives, measuring improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and strategic alignment. * Ensure scalability of SAP S/4HANA solutions and business processes to support future growth and evolving business requirements, anticipating and addressing scalability challenges proactively. What you need to succeed: * This role requires an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. * A master's degree in related function (MBA, Accounting, etc.) is strongly preferred. * Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred * Minimum of 10 years experience in progressively larger financial leadership roles, along with significant leadership experience implementing ERP solutions, in particular SAP S/4HANA, for a multi-year implementation, in complex global environments. * Strong understanding of finance transformation principles, best practices, and industry trends. * Demonstrated leadership in managing complex programs, including program planning, execution, and stakeholder management. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * Influencing without direct authority. * Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. * Experience working for a global, distributed organization, including evidence of working with different cultures. * Proven ability to lead through organizational changes in a fast-paced global environment. * Demonstrated experience in driving transformation and successfully implementing change management initiatives. * Must demonstrate a high degree of self-confidence while being a natural leader to be recognized both within and outside the Group Finance Function. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience using data to derive insights and substantiate decision making.
