Job Description
About The Position
The Contractor Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the vendor-based electric construction crews, the management of their work in accordance with applicable contracts and agreements, Ameren distribution standards, and resolution of customer complaints. Additionally, they are responsible to assure that vendor's field supervision enforces all applicable Ameren policy, practices and safety rules.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide input to project planning and design.
* Manage, develop, and evaluate contractor crews engaged in the construction, maintenance of the electric distribution system.
* Provide clear expectations for their performance.
* Schedule, assign, and direct the work in a safe, efficient, and effective manner in accordance with the applicable contracts and agreements.
* Monitor and control project budget and schedules to insure that the proper resources are allocated so that projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Provide budgetary cost tracking documentation and construction timeline schedules.
* Document project scope changes and provide project updates to the Divisions as required.
* Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments.
* Consistently enforce all WPA and safety rules and conduct Job Behavioral Observations with individuals and crews.
* Consistently enforce appropriate corporate policies with contractor crews as required.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of division and function goals. Identify and implement improvements in division operations to control costs and improve productivity and quality.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five or more years relevant experience in electric distribution required with supervisory or team leadership experience preferred, OR five or more years relevant experience in a heavy industrial or military environment including a minimum of three years in a supervisor role required. May consider relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree (e.g., Construction, Engineering, etc.) in lieu of up to one year experience.

The Contractor Services Supervisor's work environment includes office and field. This position is subject to emergency call-outs and/or rotation of standby emergency duty. Job Summary:
Provide monitoring, oversight, and performance guidance on plant generating equipment, concentrating in performance related processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements thru performance monitoring, data analysis, and related operating & maintenance (O&M) functions to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant plant operation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and oversee a program for monitoring thermal performance of power generating equipment.
* Establish, update, and communicate on an established basis the key performance indicators (KPI's) for this program.
* Assist the generating station in assessing and correcting equipment degradation that affects plant thermal performance.
* Provide technical support, testing and equipment inspection expertise within various process areas to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
* Assist in optimizing equipment operation to meet key program performance indicators
* Assist in developing O&M and Capital budgets for maintaining/improving the thermal performance of process equipment.
* Assist in developing strategic plans for equipment overhauls to optimize equipment life and time between overhauls.
* Implement performance monitoring software in conjunction with process instrumentation to assess and improve cycle/equipment performance.
* Implement methodologies to quality check key process variables associated with the thermal performance monitoring program.
* Conduct or procure training to support customer understanding of the performance monitoring programs.
* Interface with engineering resources outside of the station to support/implement performance improvement initiatives.
* Work effectively in a team environment as a leader, member and/or facilitator.

Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Thermodynamics, or Industrial Engineering (or a related discipline). May substitute 5-8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

* BS in Engineering with three years or more of experience in Power, Refinery or Chemical process facilities.

Job Purpose
This position directs the ongoing operational shift activities of the power plant and is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of individual units in compliance with all environmental regulations.
Essential Functions:
* Administer and monitor equipment safety lockout/tagout system.
* Promotes accident prevention and safety awareness by conducting pre-shift briefings, weekly safety meetings, job safety audits and accident investigations.
* Supervises the duties of operating and fuel handling personnel during off-shift periods, directs maintenance personnel for priority work.
* Monitors and evaluates maintenance activities to expedite return of equipment and systems to service.
* Directs activities of the station Fire Brigade and acts as incident commander during plant emergency conditions.

* Leads troubleshooting of equipment problems to correct the problem or recommends corrective actions; involves operators to develop technical expertise within the work group.
* Performs housekeeping assessments, assures shift cleaning and housekeeping assignments are completed, and directs work assignments to maintain acceptable plant conditions.
* Ordering of consumable materials such as fuel, oil, hydrogen, CO2 and ammonia.
* Directs all station operations at the plant during the off-shift periods as the lead management person on shift.
* Generates repair tickets to insure maintenance problems are properly and timely repaired and participates in station work management through daily planning discussions and outage planning with the cognizant maintenance personnel.
* Provides direct supervision of union represented employees, training instruction to operators, developmental and performance based coaching, and disciplinary action when appropriate.
* Communicates with other departments on unit status, deratings, plant operating risks, and scheduled maintenance affecting unit capability on a daily basis.

Job Description
About The Position
The Contractor Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the vendor-based electric construction crews, the management of their work in accordance with applicable contracts and agreements, Ameren distribution standards, and resolution of customer complaints. Additionally, they are responsible to assure that vendor's field supervision enforces all applicable Ameren policy, practices and safety rules.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide input to project planning and design.
* Manage, develop, and evaluate contractor crews engaged in the construction, maintenance of the electric distribution system.
* Provide clear expectations for their performance.
* Schedule, assign, and direct the work in a safe, efficient, and effective manner in accordance with the applicable contracts and agreements.
* Monitor and control project budget and schedules to insure that the proper resources are allocated so that projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Provide budgetary cost tracking documentation and construction timeline schedules.
* Document project scope changes and provide project updates to the Divisions as required.
* Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments.
* Consistently enforce all WPA and safety rules and conduct Job Behavioral Observations with individuals and crews.
* Consistently enforce appropriate corporate policies with contractor crews as required.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of division and function goals. Identify and implement improvements in division operations to control costs and improve productivity and quality.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five or more years relevant experience in electric distribution required with supervisory or team leadership experience preferred, OR five or more years relevant experience in a heavy industrial or military environment including a minimum of three years in a supervisor role required. May consider relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree (e.g., Construction, Engineering, etc.) in lieu of up to one year experience.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
The Contractor Services Supervisor's work environment includes office and field. This position is subject to emergency call-outs and/or rotation of standby emergency duty. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills required. Strong communication skills. Project Management skills preferred. Basic knowledge of TRIS, OAS, and Maximo, Click, systems preferred.

Compensation Range:
$88,500.00 - $137,200.00

We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
