Ameresco is looking for a Site Safety Manager to join our project on the Fort Meade military base in Maryland. This project is to provide quality-of-life improvements for service members and their families, while also reducing annual electrical consumption by 40% and natural gas consumption by 50%. The initiatives will modernize living conditions and enhance energy efficiency across 5,000 homes, affecting more than 15,000 residents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare the Site-Specific Safety Plans and Activity Hazard Analysis for assigned Business Unit projects;
Ensure compliance to all Safety Policies and adopted Standards;
Ensure personal protective equipment meets applicable OSHA/EPA requirements and employees are trained on proper use;
Conduct Safety Audits of assigned project sites ensuring work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised;
Safety training of all personnel assigned to project;
Conduct project safety inspections with follow-up inspections of any open items;
Review Subcontractor safety qualifications and attend Pre-Construction Meetings;
Creation and evaluating activity hazard reviews;
Regulatory compliance with OSHA and Ameresco standards and conducts accident and incident investigations;
Development and Implementation of Corrective Action Plans;
Work with project supervision to create safety solutions to safety problems;
Foster and maintains a positive safety culture for the project personnel;
Maintain all safety certifications as required by contracts;
Conduct quarterly safety meetings for Project Staff;
Produce Safety Reports of activities performed;
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management;
Lead Incident/accident Investigations; and
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Engineering or similar Field
Minimum of 5+ years construction industry safety experience on similar projects, ability to effectively communicate safety within a project team
An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following 4 areas of competency: Excavation; Scaffolding; Fall protection; Hazardous energy; Confined space; Health hazard recognition, evaluation and control of chemical, physical and biological agents;
Construction Health and Safety Technician Certification

Provides consultation and recommendations to the Company within and to other business units and/or customers as a result of studying company or customer-owned systems, processes, equipment, vehicles or facilities under an experienced engineer. Reviews financial data from budget and actual costs of projects under the guidance of an experienced engineer. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Job Scope:
Modeling & Scenario Planning develops and maintains system models required to run studies on the transmission system to ensure adherence to reliability criteria. This includes, but is not limited to, running thermal and voltage steady state powerflow studies and maintaining modeling data (connectivity, impedances, ratings, contingency information, etc.). As part of that task, the Team analyzes the risk on the transmission system both in the short term and future years, which provides critical information to anticipate unidentified issues and prioritize existing risks.
The successful candidate will perform Transmission System Modeling and Power Flow Studies/Analysis of the Exelon transmission system. These efforts will include:
Developing models and performing studies using available tools such as PSS/E and TARA
In coordination with PJM, ensuring that Exelon complies with applicable NERC Standards and PJM Operations/Planning Manuals
Leveraging experience performing power flow analysis and validation of study results

What You'll Be Working On
Lead, manage, and mentor the Service Desk team; build a culture of excellence by hiring, growing, and developing talent through coaching, performance reviews, and clear career pathing.
Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for internal IT support, aligning technology, automation, and service delivery models with company growth.
Develop and manage the annual IT Service Desk budget, including forecasting for hardware, software, services, and staffing.
Lead procurement for end-user computing and own relationships with key technology vendors and internal Procurement stakeholders.
Oversee daily Service Desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
Partner with other IT and business teams to coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and provisioning activities.
Develop and manage the IT asset management lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
Develop and maintain Service Desk documentation and knowledge bases.
Monitor key performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process optimizations.
Lead and manage the IT technology buildouts for new office, manufacturing, and data center locations.
Travel up to 20% to company office locations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of IT support and operations experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing Service Desk or IT support teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale support operations, with a proven track record of measuring KPIs, managing continuous improvement, and using technology and automation to scale support.
Proven experience developing staff performance, with a passion for mentoring and growing talent within the team.
Proficiency in mac OS and Windows support, including command-line tools and native utilities.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, Cloud Identity Management, SSO, SAML 2.0, and MFA.
5+ years of experience managing MDM or RMM solutions.
Experience with SaaS management and IT asset tracking/lifecycle management.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams on IT initiatives and infrastructure projects.
Ability to work in a hands‑on capacity while driving strategic initiatives.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Previous experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
Certifications in OKTA, Google Workspace, CCNA, or MCP are a plus.
Ability to pass a background check.
Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $180k - $225k + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are also included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Monitor the use of safety devices, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a clean and hazard-free shop environment.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and development of production and machining associates.
Conduct performance evaluations, recommend wage adjustments, and support employee communications and engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with Production Control, Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to support machining schedules, drawings, process changes, and tooling requirements.
Anticipate production or machining problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime or schedule interruptions.
Work with vendors and suppliers regarding materials, tooling, equipment, service quality, and delivery schedules.
Investigate accidents, equipment issues, and process inefficiencies; recommend improvements for safety, productivity, and cost savings.
Prepare and maintain accurate production, machining, and efficiency reports in ERP/MRP systems.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in CNC machining, assembly, repair/service, or production operations
