Position Overview: The Manager - Investments reports to the Senior Vice President - Finance. The Manager - Investments will lead the execution of ongoing equity, debt and tax equity financings as well as M&A mandates. The position will also be involved in cataloguing Ameresco's investment opportunities and assisting in the company's capital budgeting process. Depending on experience, the Manager - Investments may also lead deal origination, contract negotiations and foster new financing relationships in addition to managing closings. This position is based out of our Framingham, MA office. Responsibilities: Lead the execution of equity, debt and tax financings as well as M&A mandates. Respond to and complete various administrative tasks associated with deal execution on an accurate and timely basis. Create, update and provide quality-control of financial models for proposals and active deals across multiple simultaneous transactions. Provide ongoing analysis and insight on deal economics and asset valuations. Recommend and perform sensitivity analysis on deal models. Prepare executive summary materials and ‘pitch books' for financing packages and internal approvals. Update portfolio and transaction databases. Lead the handoff to accounting and finance post-deal execution. Reply to queries about projects from auditors and internal staff regarding the projects. Review operating data and complete analytic reports on project performance; identify trends across the asset portfolio and develop KPIs. Proactively drive improvement in the company's project financing process, policies and procedures. Other duties in support of project finance and asset management as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy finance, with an emphasis on deal execution and project finance management. Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office suite products. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment. Additional Qualifications: M&A experience a plus. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Work across many different functions including finance, accounting, legal, and operations. Effective interactions with colleagues, investors, and lenders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $111,000-$161,500 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
