Ameresco is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee the daily site operations, direct installation crews, and ensure quality execution of Direct Digital Controls (DDC) projects in the Cincinnati, Ohio metropolitan area. Responsibilities: * Field Leadership & Supervision: Serve as the on-site leader for all installation crews, ensuring alignment with the project plan developed by the Project Manager; Actively work alongside field installers while supervising daily activities; Direct, train, and mentor field personnel; ensure crews understand scope, deadlines, and safety requirements; Coordinate with subcontractors, general contractors, and other trades to prevent conflicts and keep the project moving smoothly. * Installation & Technical Execution: Perform hands-on installation of DDC panels, field devices, sensors, actuators, and control wiring; Troubleshoot and resolve installation and wiring issues in the field; Conduct point-to-point device checks and assist commissioning staff during system startup; Maintain responsibility for the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the job site. * Coordination & Reporting: Act as the daily on-site liaison between field teams and the Project Manager; Provide the Project Manager with daily updates on manpower, progress, material needs, and schedule risks; Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy; communicate discrepancies or conflicts back to the Project Manager for resolution; Maintain red-line as-built drawings and installation documentation. * Safety & Quality Assurance: Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific requirements; Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism; Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards on all installations. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or the equivalent is required. * Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC, electrical, or building automation installation experience. Additional Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of DDC installation practices, low-voltage wiring, and building automation systems. * Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction documents. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate crews, materials, and subcontractors. * Strong problem-solving ability with sound judgment for field decision-making. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) preferred. * High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification preferred. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $84,000-$122,000 (presented in good faith). Summary: The Field Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. Primary Responsibilities: • Overall planning for construction of the project. • Managing cost budgets of assigned projects. • Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors and material suppliers. • Issues subcontracts and purchase orders for each project. • Prepare the job start-up and close-out checklists. • Secure properly executed subcontract and purchase order agreements, insurance certificates, bonds and other documents as required for protecting the interest of the company. • Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials. • Assist the shop to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with the contract, requirements and specifications and with the required quality. • Provide weekly job status updates along with project cost tracking. • Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, and contract with owner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-builds. • Maintaining awareness of all problem areas that arise during projects. • Coordinate installer teams for all locations in each project. • Travel to installation sites to oversee the installation of ACM fascia panels and quality check the installation of all installations prior to completion. Required Qualifications: • Education: Minimum of a 4-year degree (or equivalent experience) in construction and/or construction project management. • Experience: Minimum 5-8-year on-site construction management experience, estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience. • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Excel. The Power Aerial - Distribution Overhead Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, coordination, and oversight of overhead electric distribution line construction, maintenance, and repair activities. This position ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient installation and operation of the utility's overhead distribution system, overseeing field crews, subcontractors, and support personnel to maintain compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. The Power Aerial - Distribution Overhead Superintendent serves as the primary liaison between field operations, project management, engineering, utility representatives, and external stakeholders to ensure distribution projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory and quality standards. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision Direct, schedule, and supervise overhead distribution line crews and contractors engaged in new construction, maintenance, upgrades, and emergency restoration activities. Manage field implementation of well completion and workover program. Supervise consultants and coordinate activity with completion engineers and production foreman. Environment is fast paced, with constantly changing priorities.
