We seek an experienced compliance officer to provide compliance advisory support on new initiatives and oversight of core aspects of our Compliance program such as issues, incidents, and regulatory changes. This role is responsible for helping enable business priorities with sound compliance management practices and processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide clear focused strategy and business priorities for your organization.
* Establish global relationships throughout the organization to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of process, policy, and product changes.
* Liaise with peers in other parts of the organization to align strategy and meet common goals.
* lead global programs of work beyond the core functional deliverables to drive process improvement and alignment, employee engagement, and leadership initiatives in global financial crimes and consumer protections and across Risk Management.
* Maintain a high level of subject matter expertise to coach, guide and influence other leaders and business managers toward process, policy, product, and organizational changes.
* Participate in the design and execution of the strategic direction and execution of the Risk Operations Program
* Drive multiple large projects to move the business forward.
* Strengthen the overall business governance and operating model for the best-in-class Risk Operations organization
Expected Qualifications:
* Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job overview and responsibilities
The Engineer - IT Systems Field Services position is designed to grow the candidate's knowledge of United's Best Practices, tools, and processes within the Digital Technology - Field Services organization under the mentorship of senior leaders and engineers from the team.
The role is responsible for managing all Digital Technology - Field Services aspects of small to medium-sized projects, helping coordinate project and resource plans, and ensuring functionality and quality of the delivered solution. They will oversee projects such as End User device (desktop/Laptop), Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Audio Visual (A/V) technology platforms, mobility platforms, and infrastructure activities that comply with United's IT critical infrastructure standards. The role will include interfacing between Field Services and internal & external business partners and vendors.
The successful candidate must possess excellent organization and communication skills, a strong background in project management, a strong understanding of IT Critical Infrastructure standards and practices, and excellent customer service skills. The candidate must possess excellent team collaboration skills, delegate and instruct contract staff to execute the delivery of projects and tasks. * Oversees DT projects and technology support for an assigned set of small regional line stations
* Other sites may include customer service centers, contact centers, and all other United Airlines facilities
* Duties include walkthroughs, site surveys, Digital Technology (DT) equipment support, preventative maintenance, mobility product support, DT network infrastructure support, operational equipment and communication rooms, base location inventory management and supply storage
* Station ownership - Establishes relationships with the leadership of the airports/stations they oversee.
* This includes completing regular station visits, communicating with station leadership on project status and the current state of technology at the station, and completing the station visit checklist.
* Monitoring the service ticket queue and resolving issues or escalating to the appropriate teams.
* Performs system maintenance/administration, diagnostics, imaging of PCs and mobile devices, installation and removal of PC equipment, assist end users with troubleshooting of device performance issues.
* Attends regional project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis
* Supports the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
* Coordinates activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers
* Network Engineering, WAN Engineering, Wi-Fi Engineering, Mobility Engineering and Electrical contractors
* Monitors regional Digital Technology (DT) stock levels and maintains warehouse inventory
* Ensures the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) conform to established enterprise/industry standards Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), Telecommunications Industry association (TIA)
Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
* Bachelor's degree
* 2+ years of relevant experience

* Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies
* Experience leading small to mid-size projects
* Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Ability to travel to other United hubs / regional airports up to 50%

The base pay range for this role is $71,345.00 to $92,922.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
