American Association For The Advancement Of Science (AAAS) is an international non-profit organization focused on developing and supporting scientific education, science outreach, promoting cooperation among scientists, defending scientific freedom, and encouraging scientific responsibility. AAAS publishes four journals: Science, Science Signaling, Science Translational Medicine, and Science Advances. Science Diplomacy, Science & Diplomacy, and Science, Technology & Security Policy are its global outreach programs. AAAS conducts press and public engagement programs to make science and technology information accessible to everyone. It provides objective analysis to decision makers and helps experts contribute to policy-making.
