Pros of working at American Axle & Manufacturing
The building is nice and so is the location. The employees are good people.
Cons of working at American Axle & Manufacturing
Leadership is terrible, especially HR. AAM is the worst company to work for. The micro management there is way out of control. That company is a revolving door. They can’t hold on to people. No one wants to work there. Their HR leader is horrendous! She knows nothing about HR so they gave her a VP of HR role. She is threatened by the good HR folks so she lies about them and gets them fired. This is why they can’t hold on to people. I worked at Corporate and wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.
