We are seeking a Civil ProjectEngineer to support the design and development of commercial civil site projects, including grading, utility layouts, stormwater management, and erosion control. Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

4-5 years of civil engineering design and/or project management experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large-scale site development projects (e.g., warehouses, retail centers, multi-acre sites).
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within the near term.
Experience mentoring or reviewing work of junior staff.

Most work is performed in a professional office environment. Some trips to client offices and outdoor environments for observations will be required.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position, generally 40 hours per week, however, hours may fluctuate depending on department needs including the use of overtime.
CobbFendley's standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CST. Generally, employees receive a 1-hour unpaid lunch break free of duty. Please note, operating hours and lunch hours may differ based on project workload, primarily for field staff.
WORK LOCATION FLEXIBILTY
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule once the training period is complete as established by the department.

Contribute to foundation design: slabs, anchor bolts, base plates

Understand IFA and IFC documentation requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering

E.I.T. preferred but not required
Familiar with or willing to learn AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, ABAQUS, MS Office
Basic knowledge of AISC, ASCE, IBC, AWS codes
