If you're interested in learning the ancient and profound healing arts in Chinese herbology, acupuncture, nutrition, Tai Ji Quan and Qigong, the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California, may be the place for you. Besides the opportunity to complete a clinical internship in China, you'll be able to intern at many clinics located throughout the San Francisco area. Interns participate in a variety of off-campus externship programs to service the community, like providing low-cost acupuncture treatments to citizens of the San Francisco Bay Area. Programs available for study include a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Doctorate in AOM with specialties in Gynecology and Pain Management and Asian Body Therapy Certificates. To be considered for financial aid, you must file a FAFSA. Forms of tuition assistance include scholarships, federal direct loans and more. If you're interested in applying, you must have completed a minimum of 90 semester or 135 quarter units from an accredited U.S. institution.
