In addition, it offers green sand bond solutions, including bentonite products and customized performance blends, specialty chromite sands, chemical binder systems, metal fluxing agents, technical support, laboratory services, and system sand testing services for metal casting industries; pet care products; and sodium bentonites lignites and oil-based drilling muds for oil and gas, and water well drilling industries. The company was founded in 1927 and is based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. It has locations in Belvidere and Granite City, Illinois; Archbold and Columbus, Ohio; Letohatchee and Sandy Ridge, Alabama; Troy, Indiana; Pickett, Wisconsin; Waterloo, Iowa; Albion, Michigan; Gascoyne, North Dakota; York, Pennsylvania; Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Neenah, Wisconsin; and Colony and Lovell, Wyoming; Victoria, Australia; Mumbai, India; Gomez Palacio, Mexico; Beijing and Jianping, China; Rayong, Thailand; Alexandria, Egypt; Tokyo/Nagoya, Japan; and Seoul, Korea.
