This position is under the direct supervision of the Operation Manager for assigned shift of the Security Department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of property, personnel, customers and all visitors. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Completes post duties for the Monday-Friday day shift schedule. Receive and review all information passed on from the client and communicate it to Management. Monitor all radio communications. Brief other guards on daily projects, shift changes, or special instructions. Assist security guards as needed. Conduct and attend safety meetings, where applicable. Meet with the client for daily projects, issues, or areas of concern as needed. Assist client as requested. Inspections: Security booth; security guards (uniforms, grooming, and credentials); and any other inspections as needed. Patrol worksite and monitor security operations. Scheduling/payroll: manages schedules of security guards to ensure the post is fully staffed; submitting personal time-off requests; updating vacation/day off roster; updating attendance roster; entering and confirming time sheets in Tracktik, scanning, sending, and delivering payroll information to ACS office. Deliver and/or pick up documents or equipment at the ACS office as needed. Deliver operational reports at the end of each month. Meet with operations to analyze and enhance operations. Review, sort, and file all paperwork. Uniforms: Receive employee requests for replacements, pick up and deliver uniforms items to security guards Training: ensure security guards receive state-mandated training; meet with newly hired or transferred security guards when first assigned to the worksite; issue a new-hire and training packet, give security guards a tour of the worksite and explain schedules; and appropriate training regarding worksite procedures during disasters, fires, and bomb threats; and any other training as needed. Ensure security guards receive and document their breaks and meal breaks. Ensure appropriate authorities and ACS managementare notified when any incident occurs. Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement as needed. Other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1 year of Security or Law Enforcement experience required. At least 6 months of supervisory experience required. Must maintain a valid California Security Guard License. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, in English, with staff and the public. Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance. Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedure. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Travels to customer locations via company vehicle to diagnose, repair, and/or replace computer hardware in accordance with service agreements. Manages preventative maintenance schedule in a timely and efficient manner. Assists other territories and technicians as needed which may include travel to other metropolitan areas. Takes ownership of meeting customers' business needs. Coordinates activities and seeks assistance from technical support when appropriate. Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, sales, technical support, call center, and customer via voicemail, use of wireless call processing system, or in-person communication. Manages parts inventory in accordance with established guidelines. Submits required paperwork in a timely, efficient, and complete manner. May be asked to train new technicians in an on-the-job manner. REQUIREMENTS Two or more years related experience and/or training. Secur-Serv provides training at the office in Omaha, NE, along with, access to a database of manuals and depot support personnel to call if additional support is needed. Able to successfully attend training in Headquarters and/or outside schools to keep abreast of new technology and hardware product developments. Valid and current state Driver's License. Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to diagnose equipment operational errors and product failures. Must be able to problem solve, think analytically and be attentive to detail. Good verbal communication skills for interaction with customers. Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, write, and hear. Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, bend, crawl, push/ pull, twist and turn. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to meet all physical requirements up to eight hours per day. Able to travel overnight 5-10%.
