Position Summary
The HR Generalist plays a critical, hands-on role supporting day-to-day HR operations across a multi-state, multi-entity organization. This role serves as a first-line resource for employee questions, onboarding and offboarding execution, payroll coordination, HRIS data governance, and compliance support.
This is an execution-heavy role for someone who can manage details, meet deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and operate with increasing independence in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Employee questions are resolved accurately and timely
Onboarding and offboarding are executed cleanly and consistently
Payroll issues are identified, escalated, and resolved without disruption
HRIS data is accurate, auditable, and well-maintained
Compliance risks are surfaced early with clear documentation
Stakeholders receive clear updates and next steps without chasing
Key Responsibilities
Employee Support & HR Operations
Serve as a first line point of contact for employee HR questions and issue triage
Support employee relations matter through documentation, coordination, and escalation
Assist with investigations by gathering facts, maintaining records, and supporting follow-up
Onboarding & Offboarding
Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding execution across multiple practices
Coordinate new hire documentation, system access, and compliance requirements
Ensure terminations are processed accurately and on time
Payroll Coordination
Partner with Payroll to resolve pay discrepancies and data issues
Support timekeeping, job changes, and employee data corrections
Ensure payroll-related changes are properly documented and communicated
HRIS & Data Governance
Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems
Run standard and ad hoc reports to support audits, leadership requests, and compliance
Assist with HRIS training, data clean-up, and process improvements
Compliance & Documentation
Support multi-state compliance requirements and documentation standards
Assist with audits, record retention, and policy adherence
Ensure HR processes align with company policies and employment regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
2-4 years of HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HR Operations experience
Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet non-negotiable deadlines
Professional communication skills with clinical, administrative, and vendor partners
Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Experience with HRIS systems and payroll coordination strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)

Must Have:
