Specialist Transport Operator:
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the transportation of heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform all duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules, regulations, and practices, and report unsafe conditions and practices.
Operate, inspect, and service (including minor adjustments and maintenance) cranes, dozers, pulling equipment, digger derrick, large bucket trucks, excavator and similar heavy equipment.
Operate large equipment capacity tandem axle tractor/trailer to haul station equipment, heavy construction equipment, and large material components; load and unload heavy construction equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Direct the work of employees assigned to assist.
Oversee contractors during super-load hauls to ensure compliance with safety protocols and transportation regulations.
Understand and adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations, including obtaining and maintaining necessary permits for transporting oversized or heavy loads.
Obtain and coordinate needed escorts and traffic control for the safe transport of oversized or heavy loads as required.
Emergency Response Requirement: Be available for emergency response situations, including the transportation of equipment and materials as needed outside of regular working hours.
Maintain required records.
Mentor and train other employees on all heavy equipment.
Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned such as performing same-day material runs to job sites to aid in crew efficiency.
Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
* High School diploma or GED
Experience:
One year of previous experience operating heavy-duty trucks or similar equipment preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and other necessary endorsements. (specify: necessary = tanker and haz-mat endorsement). Must obtain the above within 12 months of entry date or vacate the job classification.
Ability to obtain and maintain all Crane Certifications (3 different cert. - Fixed, Swing, ABC/ABW). Must obtain the above within 12 months of entry date or vacate the job classification.
Qualify through demonstration and/or examination as determined by the Company.
Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations required.
Understand and able to operate all types of equipment (cranes, excavators, skid loaders, forklifts, etc.) used in construction and maintenance. One year experience of such equipment is required.
Know the standard methods of rigging, blocking, and skidding heavy equipment.
Ability to handle heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Demonstrate familiarity with Company safety rules and practices and maintain applicable proficiency level in resuscitation and first aid skills.
Meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

What you'll do:
Work on energized equipment up to 260 volts. After six months in classification, employee shall assist in work on conductors and equipment energized at voltages above 750 volts with direct supervision or assistance of personnel in higher classification.
Select proper prints and/or drawings for various work and have a basic understanding of each.
Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, insulation meggers and other test equipment associated with station work.
Assist in disassembling and reassembling, inspecting, maintenance, and repairing of station transformers, circuit breakers, portable substations, rotating machinery, network protectors and transformers, air ducts and heat exchangers; install and maintain station batteries; replace nitrogen bottles and air filters.
Assist in station work such as installing conduit, pipe, cable and wire; use hand lines to pass tools and materials; dig and backfill trenches; remove and spread stone; uncrate equipment and material; install and remove portable substation fences, barriers and safety signs; paint structures and equipment; climb station structures.
Use various kinds of tapes, insulating materials, protective and insulating paints and varnishes, and understand proper application of each.
Assist in making visual inspections such as check lights, heaters, circuit breaker counters, oil levels, and bus connections; read gauges such as voltmeters, ammeters, hydrometers, pressure and level gauges; apply start-run-stop tests on emergency generators, water and sump pumps and fire engine motors. Report abnormal conditions.
Replace lamps, switches, duplex outlets, dry cells; install and maintain signal and communication systems.
Assist in various tests involving oil samples, connecting and operating portable and stationary oil handling equipment. Assist in electrical tests, TTR, Doble, core megger and resistance for transformer testing, etc.
Assist in station switching including use of radio communication and/or direct instruction from higher classification, assist in checking equipment clearances and making de-energized tests, place grounds as directed.
Knowledge and proficiency in steel and aerial lift rescue.
Maintain records and prepare and submit reports as required.
Attend and participate in training and assist in the training of other employees as assigned.
Use and operate various company vehicles, specialized equipment, hand and power tools.
Operate company vehicles, cranes, aerial lifts and specialized equipment. Perform duties incidental to the operation of such equipment
Use hand and power tools; operate portable generators, blowers and pumps; inspect and store personal protective equipment.
Knowledge and use of various knots used in station work.

Qualified applicants must have:
Single purpose canine handler certificate or possess the ability to obtain same prior to commencing work.
Dual purpose canine handler certificate or possess the ability to obtain same prior to commencing work.
Three (3) or more years law enforcement canine handling experience, or three (3) or more years military canine handling experience or similarly documented substantially similar experience acquired elsewhere. Selected applicants will be subject to a ninety (90) day probationary period which must be satisfactorily completed.
Applicants must also meet the following criteria: Expressed willingness to remain with the program for at least three years.
Expressed willingness (together with other family members) to care for and house the canine at the handler's residence in accord with all Andy Frain policies and procedures.
Provide a secure outdoor area for the canine that conforms to Andy Frain Services requirements.
Possess a strong desire to work with canines and a willingness to care for and train the animal.
Demonstrate physical fitness abilities related to the tasks of canine handling: lifting, carrying, climbing, and balancing while bearing the combined weight of the canine and any necessary associated equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Handlers must receive and maintain all required certifications consistent with the Andy Frain prescribed Person Borne Gun Detection Course.
Handlers must certify with assigned canine for employment.
Handler will be responsible for the health, welfare, and maintenance of assigned canine.
Handler will be responsible for maintaining training and utilization records.
Must maintain annual canine certifications.
Must have valid driver's licenses, and clear driving record for last three years and complete Andy Frain Safe Drivers' Instruction.
Must maintain company assigned vehicle consistent with Andy Frain fleet management policies and procedures.
Handler will conduct searches as directed by Andy Frain management only with the assigned canine and only at Andy Frain designated sites.
Provide assistance as directed by Andy Frain management, designated authorized client contact(s) and law enforcement agencies.
Maintain all assigned canine-related equipment.
Must strictly comply with and maintain as current or active all instruction, certifications and licensing required in the jurisdiction to which they are assigned to perform the work, including those associated with the possession, use, handling, and care of firearms.
Strictly adhere to all Andy Frain policy and procedural requirements to perform as an armed employee. Possess, use, or carry only Andy Frain approved firearms.

A property selected to house an Andy Frain working dog shall be such that will accommodate a kennel and include flooring which shall be constructed of building materials that will securely contain the canine and keep it safe. A suitable residence is required and will be inspected prior to an officer being selected as a canine handler to ensure the property can accommodate a canine and kennel by the Canine Coordinator.
Residences that house a canine will have "caution" signs identifying that a dog is on the property and the signs will be placed at the exterior entrance gate and on the secured kennel gate. When a canine handler is not present at his/her residence, the canine will be kept in the secured kennel supplied by Andy Frain Services.

Must be able to walk for an extended period.

* The Instrument and Controls Technician will perform and mentor other members of the crew in the performance of the following activities:

Pull load break elbow from pad mount or rack-mounted equipment using hot stick.
Periodically work extended overtime shifts.
Proficient in Pole/Tower Climbing.
Capable of working at heights and/or confined spaces.
Must be able to climb different types of structures (wood, steel, etc.) and possess the necessary tools to do so.
Physical Standards
Required physical abilities to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger dexterity, grasp, and repetitive motions. What You'll Do
Meter Reading:
