The incumbent will play a key role in representing Risk Management in U.S. Consumer new product development initiatives, in close partnership with functional teams across Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR). The incumbent will collaborate across all Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) functions to create comprehensive and robust credit strategies for banking products. The incumbent will also work in collaboration with non-CFR teams, including Product Management, Corporate Development, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, GCO, Servicing, and Technologies in order to evaluate the impacts of new initiatives on business economics. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to interact with and influence colleagues and senior leaders in CFR and across the enterprise. **Responsibilities:** + Represent CFR in the U.S. Consumer New Product Development process; provide input and consulting to deal teams through the development lifecycle - evaluation, proposal, and launch + Review deal pipelines, perform risk due diligence on prospective partners and portfolios, and provide risk inputs into deal contracts + Perform benchmarking analyses using internal and external data to predict product performance metrics and behaviors - e.g., approval rate, spend, revolve, write-off + Develop end-to-end risk management strategies for new products, implement strategies, policies, and controls, and monitor and assess post-launch performance + Define risk management strategies for banking products; implement policies, processes, and controls; monitor and actively manage portfolio credit metrics. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Learning agility and rigor for using analysis to solve complex business problems + Deep understanding of card economics + Comfort and proven ability to drive results under tight timelines, often with limited information + Effective and succinct communication, adjusting style for channel and audience + Ability to build strong relationships in a cross-functional environment, interacting with and influencing business partners across CFR, Product Management, Corporate Development, Marketing, Compliance, GCO, and Technologies + Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities + Experience working with large datasets; knowledge of Lumi, Python, SQL, and/or other similar programming languages required **Preferred Qualifications:** + Expertise in credit risk management, consumer credit, and card/installment lending economics + Externally focused and aware of the latest technology and market trends in payment, credit trends, and credit behavior + Familiar and pays attention to external/industry development in the payments industry + Adaptability in a quickly changing environment + Advance degree in an analytical field is a plus **Qualifications** Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
