    Reporting to the Core Litigation Director, this Senior Manager will provide leadership for staff whose primary tasks are the adjudication and settlement of claims involving the most technically challenging claims. You will possess extensive claims and litigation experience across all lines of our business. You will provide direction to staff on all aspects of claims handling and authority requests including those related to coverage and escalated through the team in working with Staff Council. Position Compensation Range: $111,000.00 - $190,000.00 Pay Rate Type: Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities You will manage the authority, guidance, and direction to Staff Council. You will create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. You will actively contribute to division or department leadership team. You will communicate and support our organizations mission, vision, values and practices. Maintain awareness of existing and proposed legislation, court decisions and latest trends in claims litigation to monitor our compliance and recommend procedure changes. Prepare and manage annual operating budget. You will also help prepare business plans. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of office and field claim handling processes. Demonstrated thorough understanding of policy language, coverages and underwriting intent. Ask your Recruiter for details! ** Position will be 50% working in the field and 50% working from home ** We are looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our Multi-line Damage team as a Multi-line Adjuster! As an ambassador for GEICO's renowned customer service, you will work in a dynamic environment that may include repair shops, salvage yards, and customer's homes. You will be responsible for inspecting damage, estimating cost of repairs, negotiating settlements, issuing payments, and providing excellent customer service. This position primarily will include servicing vessels, motorcycles, RV and other specialty claims. Qualifications & Skills: Valid driver's license (must meet company underwriting guidelines for at least the past 3 consecutive years) and the ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments Willingness to be flexible with primary work location Solid computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree or currently pursuing preferred Requirements: Experience appraising Vessels - 2 years minimum Preferred experience appraising motorcycles and RV's Strong Customer Service skills - Ability to interact with customers and repair facilities Must be able to obtain/qualify for Rhode Island all line adjusters license Annual Salary $32.05 - $57.49 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
