• The Senior Reimbursement Consultant will be a subject matter expert in the following areas, S-10, Wage Index, Bad Debts, Medicare Audits, Disproportionate Share, Indirect Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, and Governmental Logs, (HCAP, UPL and Franchise Fee programs in the state of Ohio) as well as special projects as assigned.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing and monitoring goal achievement and other documents as needed, of all clients served with regular contact with the client's care team.
Essential Functions
Provides assessment, program planning, and service coordination for clients including: Maintain deficiency free charts
Monthly incidentals/case notes of clients Development Individual Support Plans for all clients on caseload including writing SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely) goals for each client and reporting out on goal achievement every six months.
Development of Behavior Support Plans and Fall Prevention Plans as needed.
Must be able to communicate internally with clients and coworkers as well as externally with guardians, community case managers, caregivers, transportation drivers, among others.
Accurately account for clients' money used for community outings.
Medication management and administration as needed.
Occasional travel (0%-15%)

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in related field with a minimum of one year experience as a proven Program Specialist.
Previous related experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

What You Will Do
Management Evaluation (ME) is a federally mandated program. Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) mandates Ohio provide a plan each year that requires a certain number of counties be reviewed, as well as a certain number of cases. Ensuring the ME Unit is fully staffed is essential to Ohio meeting all FNS mandated requirements.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as food stamps, helps low-income people buy nutritious food. SNAP cases are reviewed to make sure they are completed timely and accurately. In this job, the work of county caseworkers is reviewed to see if they are making the correct decision on SNAP cases.
Job Duties
* Learn the review process during your probationary period
* Travel to county offices to conduct reviews
* Complete interviews with county staff
* Document information using paper and electronic case records
* Complete 8-10 county reviews a year
You need to be:
* Experienced determining eligibility for SNAP

OPTION 3:
* Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohio's SEIU/1199 Pay Schedule, Pay Range 12. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $31.74 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
Provide counseling and education on diet, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition therapy into patient care plans.
Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nutrition interventions.

Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.

Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical dietetics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and nutrition analysis software is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is based in Milwaukee, WI, and involves working in a clinical healthcare setting. The role may require occasional travel for community outreach or professional development.
