American International College (AIC), as its name suggests, prides itself
on its truly multicultural environment and student body. Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, American International College was
initially established, nearly 150 years ago, as a school for those
migrating from other countries. To this day, American International
welcomes students from over 60 countries around the world. Student life is also a blending of cultures, with numerous cultural and
ethnic club offerings and Multicultural Affairs and International
Students centers. Campus ministry is also a blending of numerous
religions, as represented by the eclectic student body. Academics at AIC are also diverse, with bachelor's degrees awarded in
such fields as Accounting, American Studies, English, International
Business, New Media, Physical Therapy and Pre-Medicine and graduate
programs offered in Occupational Therapy, Public Administration and
Forensic Psychology, among others. All students may access the multiple student services on the AIC campus;
these include a Counseling Center, a Health Center, a Center for Academic
Success and a Financial Aid office where students may apply for
scholarships and other aid sources. Admission is based on such factors as academic performance, SAT scores
