Founded in 1992, LALH is the only nonprofit organization in the world devoted to publishing in the field of American landscape history.
Designscapes Colorado, Inc. was incorporated in 1992 and owned by Phil Steinhauer — and today is nationally recognized as a premiere design, construction, and maintenance firm serving both residential and commercial properties.
A member of the LALH staff since 2000, Lippincott brings over twenty years of experience in design and publishing to the position.
The most exciting and dynamic change for American came in 2006 when the non-construction related divisions of American Landscape Companies were acquired by the Price Family.
