American Leak Detection provides leak detection on water, sewer, gas, building envelopes and irrigation systems as well as line locating services to industrial, commercial and residential customers. We provide leak detection on pools, spas, waterfalls, fountains, and ponds also on an industrial, commercial and residential level. We are seeking a mechanically inclined and highly motivated individual who wants to learn more about finding and fixing concealed leaks This is a full-time position. Travel in work vehicles throughout the Columbus and surrounding area. Work Week: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5:00pm, some days 8am to later depending on jobsite locations and time of year.Pay is commensurate with experience / competency-based pay. Responsibilities
Assisting in the day to day operations of Inspections and services for all aspects of finding and fixing leaks
Assists in leak detection on piping systems, pools and spas, and use of electronic equipment and inert gases
Communicates with management, colleagues, and customers in a timely manner
Assist in the test of parts and equipment, as well as in the maintaining of proper parts and equipment stock levels
Use of power tools and equipment necessary
Provides professional courteous customer service at all times
Qualifications

Must have good customer service skills. Work will be primarily in the Columbus, OH and surrounding area. Some weekends/nights possible for commercial projects on a volunteer basis with additional pay. Expect some travel out of the metro area.
Candidates with prior plumbing and/or pool experience PREFERRED. Candidates with the ability to problem solve are highly desirable.
Duties will include:
Book reading, familiarizing yourself with the industry On-the-job training using highly specialized electronic and sonar equipment to pinpoint water leaks on a variety of plumbing systems and settings. An Apprentice Candidate will be required to demonstrate an ability to use computer technologies to maintain work flow and test results. Good written communication skills are preferred. This company follows current COVID-19 guidelines and precautions. You will be required to sign a non disclosure agreement upon being hired.
Fully trained technician will be able to locate leaks on residential domestic/supply water plumbing systems and on pool plumbing systems and pool structures using specialized equipment. Technician will be trained as needed using diving equipment. Technicians will also be able to work well with others on larger commercial leak detection projects for both supply water and pools.
This is based on a 90 day probationary period- after the 90 days an evaluation of employment & pay will be discussed

Purpose The Environmental Compliance Technician assists in environmental quality assurance with reference to SWACO's permits and local, state, and federal regulations. This position operates the gas collection and control system, leachate collection system, ground water collection system, surface water conveyance system, and perform other necessary tasks to ensure facility compliance. The Environmental Compliance Technician will work primarily at SWACO's active landfill but will also work at the closed landfill and transfer stations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operate and maintain the landfill gas collection system in order to meet regulatory requirements and achieve performance standards;
Coordinate repairs and modifications necessary to maintain and operate the landfill gas and leachate collection systems in a cost-effective manner;
Inspect, repair, and/or modify wells, wellheads, collection lines, condensate traps, migration probes, vaults, flares, leachate lines, pumps, and associated equipment as directed;
Implement environmental policies and compliance procedures applicable to SWACO facilities related to all permits, programs, and plans;
Calibrate and maintain meters and equipment as required, and schedule factory required calibration/maintenance as necessary;
Monitor sample points such as gas collection wells and gas probes, and record data by hand and/or electronically;
Conduct landfill field testing using portable instrumentation such as GEM 2000/5000, Elkins Envision, FID's, LEL meters, and water level meters;
Perform periodic maintenance checks on all SWACO's explosive gas monitoring systems, including gas probes and methane monitors, and assists in the preparation of reports to regulatory authorities;
Adjust landfill gas flow rates from wells, as necessary, to minimize gas emissions from the field and optimize flow to the high BTU facility;
Maintain a gas collection field log in various electronic forms to manage the project and resources effectively including production and quality deliverables;
Weld and fabricate High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes;
Troubleshoot and repair affected monitoring and pumping systems;
Organize and store data
Monitor, sample and log surface water at all SWACO facilities;
Conduct other environmental sampling and inspections for SWACO facilities, assure integrity of samples, and forward samples to testing laboratory;
Perform Quality Assurance / Quality Control function on environmental laboratory data reports and statistical reports;
Utilize GPS to check grades, references, and points of pipe installation; and
Recommend equipment and parts purchases.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required;
Experience with landfill gas collection and environmental sampling or monitoring preferred, and
College classes in environmental studies preferred.

Fully trained technician will be able to locate leaks on residential domestic/supply water plumbing systems and on pool plumbing systems and pool structures using specialized equipment. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry. Responsibilities:
Managing Customer Satisfaction and representing the brand
Effectively perform all aspects of the production processes
Regular Vehicle and equipment maintenance and organization
Working with your direct supervisor to ensure team is unified and efficient
Following all uniform and policy guidelines in line with the Brand Identity Guide
Always leaving jobsites with a clean and orderly appearance
Developing production expertise through providing services

Description of the role:
We run a very busy, professional service department and need honest, hard-working, experienced techs. To be a success at our dealership, you need to have solid skills and solid ethics. We also know that to keep a good service tech, a dealership has to treat them right by paying them well and offering room for learning and advancement. Responsibilities:
Examine and diagnose vehicles
Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
Provide labor estimates to service advisor
Monitor repair time and update service advisor
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Assist in mentoring technician trainees
Attend company and factory training
Keep current with factory technical bulletins
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
Requirements:
CDJR Certification Level 3; will consider a Level 2 CDJR Technician with at least 5 years experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician within a dealership
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team and individually
