The Certification team is looking for a dedicated Customer Care Center Specialist (CCCSP) that functions as an integral member of the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) Customer Care Center and is primarily responsible for providing real-time first call resolution to incoming customer calls and for responding to customer inquiries received via email. The CCCSP handles calls and emails that impact individual nurses, health care organizations, state/regulatory bodies, and vendors. The CCCSP addresses and resolves questions or issues that include but are not limited to certification/verification, publications, financial transactions, and membership. The CCCSP must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task, and always maintain calm and efficient demeanor. The CCCSP is the “customer face” of the ANE.

What You Will Do:
General Duties:
Provides real-time first call resolution for incoming customer calls received via the queue. Average call volume for the Customer Care Center is 80 calls per day. Functions include assisting customers with general website navigation; providing general information on ANE products and services, including available webinars and promotional codes; creating or completing online certification, verification of certification, membership and publications orders; processing credit card payments for a variety of products including payment for balances due; and providing general information regarding statuses of certification, verification, membership and publication orders. Documents all customer interactions in Personify contact tracking and escalate issues according to established processes. Meets service level expectations.
Certification and Verification:
For certification and verification customers, they provide sensitive and accurate certification information to high-stakes customers including state boards of nursing, credentialing companies, and employers of certified nurses, according to clearly defined processes within the certification work unit. Is responsible for conducting in-depth research of detailed financial receipt inquiries from verification customers and providing accurate information on the status of prepaid verification accounts, resolving duplicate order issues, and providing available customer service recovery options such as free verification orders. This also includes the creation of certification and verification orders and processing credit card payments for verification and certification products. Processes tier-1 refunds as needed.
Certification Application and Exams:
For certification application and exam issues, research customer issues within the Personify database, ImageSilo (online access to archived hard copy application items), and GEE (Prometric eligibility access) and resolve or determine escalation of a customer service issue, as appropriate.
Publications:
For publications customers provide general information regarding the status of orders and accept payments for balances due for orders already created in Personify. Creates orders in Personify system for routine, Tier 1 orders and escalates upper Tier orders as appropriate, in line with SLA. Forwards Acknowledgements and invoices as appropriate for Tier 1 orders. Alerts Publications team of any trends or issues that need to be addressed at the system level.
Membership:
For Membership, assist individual nurse members and potential members with tier-1 inquiries including but not limited to membership status, types of memberships available, membership rates, membership benefits, and payment status. Process requests such as updating credit card information, issuing a member card, transferring membership, resolving duplicate record issues, providing a receipt, and troubleshooting and resolving tier 1 payment issues including refunds. Create membership orders in Personify and process necessary payments for individuals requesting to join or reinstate their membership assuring the correct membership option is selected from a complicated structure established by the Constituent and State Nurses Associations (C/SNAs). Alerts Revenue Operations of any trends or issues that need to be addressed at the system level and Membership of any issues relating to benefits, fulfillment of incentives or general issues relating to ANA membership.
Other Duties as Assigned:
Responds to customer inquiries received as assigned, and follow-through to resolution of inquiries. Average email volume is 100 - 150 messages per day. Inquiries received via email include communication with high-stakes customers; financial research; and general research across Personify, ImageSilo, and GEE. Manage personal voicemail messages, email messages, and Personify contact tracking entries. Meets expectations for accuracy of responses and response time to all inquiries as established by departmental metrics.
Sets up and maintains company verification accounts. Investigates and resolves all common verification-related concerns such as order status updates and reprint requests.
Runs daily Personify print jobs to generate authorization to test notices, verification of certification letters, receipt of application notices, and renewal notices. These notices are time-sensitive and directly affect the ability of advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) obtain/maintain appropriate state licensure and to be/remain employed.
Processes hard copy requests for name changes, duplicate wall certificates and exam reassignments. Timely name changes may impact customer ability to test.

The American Red Cross is currently seeking a full-time Mobile SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist to support the Service to Armed Forces and International Services (SAF-IS) mission at Fort Belvoir and surrounding installations. This position is a part of our mobile staff which requires meeting strict medical and security clearances prior to employment. In a mobile role, worldwide deployment is a condition of employment. Mobile staff members typically deploy for 6 months at a time typically, approximately once every 18 months, and can be sent to any military base in the world. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.
The Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) and International Services (IS) mission is to provide care and comfort to the members of the United States Armed Forces and their families. It is the impetus for the establishment of the American Red Cross (ARC). SAF at the Red Cross is a mixture of both tradition and innovation. ARC continues to provide traditional support to military families; serve in military and veterans hospitals, and conduct emergency communication. But, we also continually adapt our traditional services and create new programs to meet the needs of today's military member, veterans and their families.
The SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist assists in the delivery of American Red Cross programs and services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures. One focus will be on supporting the delivery of International Services (IS) U.S. programs and services to include International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Youth Action Campaign (YAC) and Restoring Family Links (RFL). This is accomplished through managing volunteers and working with other Red Cross departments to support strong visibility for SAF/IS U.S. throughout the military community in the Pacific Islands Region.
The RPS may also serve as part of the Hero Care Center Contingency Team. Will act as the first line of supervision and support to provide casework expertise and manage volunteers and other staff members during surge situations and disaster responses. Supports Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) as necessary in accordance with the DCS COOP SAF responsibilities. Maintains deployment readiness at all times by completing medical requirements, clearance requirements and by completing ongoing training requirements to maintain proficiency with casework and relationship management.
Primary Responsibilities
Relationship Management and Community Outreach: Serves as the “face” of the Red Cross throughout your region.
Cultivates relationships and partnerships with external constituents in the local community, including government organizations, corporate partners, civic organizations and other community charitable and nonprofit agencies with the purpose of furthering the mission of the Red Cross. Outreach includes command meetings, education briefings, presentations or information sessions. Will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective command relationships during deployment.
Volunteer Management: Develops and implements a strategic volunteer program to engage and enable delivery of all Red Cross programs and services on a military installation.
Recruits and trains volunteers in the delivery of SAF programs and services, Preparedness, Health & Safety Services, and Disaster Cycle Services.
Supervises volunteer staff in their daily work responsibilities.
Service Delivery Management: Ensures the delivery of SAF core services to all clients within their jurisdiction.
Supports other lines of ARC service to ensure the delivery of Preparedness, Health and Safety Services training, and disaster preparedness and response. Services may include conducting training, meetings, presentations, and workshops as well as scheduling, recruitment, marketing and providing materials and support throughout the community.
Hero Care Network Contingency Team: May serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during emergency situations at the SAF Hero Care Center.
Deployment Readiness: Mobile staff are required to deploy and maintain readiness at all times. In order to maintain their annual readiness certification, the following is required:
Deployment Familiarization Training on military culture and protocols, command relationships, do's & don'ts while deployed and scenario-based situations.
Advanced leadership training and advanced casework training must be completed.
All trainings must be recertified annually to ensure continued readiness.
Once activated for deployment, staff will meet regularly with senior leadership to ensure readiness and ability to backfill OCONUS SAF-IS Mobile positions as needed.
Additional training with site specific scenarios with the current staff members at their deployment location is required.
Additional deployment medical requirements must be met.
Must obtain a no-fee passport prior to deployment and a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC) upon arrival.
Reporting & Admin Support: Monitors and reports on American Red Cross Service Delivery Outcomes.
• Interact with customers and other teams to obtain data to document outcomes and program results to ensure organizational accountability.
• Input and Evaluate Service Delivery Data for consistency completeness, accuracy, reasonableness.
• Generate data reports on a scheduled and/ or periodic basis for management or local command.
• Makes recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure metrics are consistently met.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field; or relevant equivalent experience is required.

Requires strong computer skills. Public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing are required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in an individual or team environment. Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired. Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is strongly desired.
Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of up to 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.

Work Conditions:
Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.
FOR MOBILE POSITIONS ONLY (Domestic and Overseas settings)
Some positions are designated as “Mobile” and subject to unique job requirements. SAF Mobile Staff perform the same basic job responsibilities as non-mobile staff in regions. In addition to those responsibilities, this special workforce is also required to deploy on short term temporary assignments, serving alongside military members who are deployed to designated theaters of operations anywhere in the world. Mobile staff must be ready to deploy whenever called upon, and to do so are required to meet and maintain specific medical and other readiness requirements. Requirements unique to mobile positions include the following:
Support both the day-to-day operations and emergency needs of the Hero Care Center as a member of the Hero Care Network Contingency Team.
Completes all trainings and requirements to maintain casework proficiency, to include working shifts and participating in readiness drills.
Responds to emergency, surge, and disaster situations, as needed.
To maintain readiness, staff must:
Maintain all medical and security requirements
Engage in annual deployment familiarization program to include trainings and meetings
When activated to deploy, participate in additional trainings and meetings to prepare for deployment
OVERSEAS SETTING ONLY
In addition, mobile staff based overseas may also be responsible for managing the promotion and delivery of all Red Cross services to clients within their jurisdiction. This may include:

Ensuring Disaster Cycle Services are provided including responding to local, regional and division level disasters and acting as a planning partner for local emergency management and response activities

SAF Mobile Staff perform the same basic job responsibilities as non-mobile staff in regions. In addition to those responsibilities, this special workforce is also required to deploy on short term temporary assignments, serving alongside military members who are deployed to designated theaters of operations anywhere in the world. Mobile staff must be ready to deploy whenever called upon, and to do so are required to meet and maintain specific medical and other readiness requirements. Requirements unique to mobile positions include the following:
World-wide mobility is a condition of employment. It is an essential function of this position and employees must accept assignments anywhere in the world where we provide services to members of the U.S. military and their families.
Mobile staff members must be US citizens and able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance and no-fee U.S. passport.
Must meet and maintain strict medical and physical requirements, including immunizations required by the U.S. military and Department of Defense.
Responsible for proper wear and maintenance of daily Red Cross Duty Uniform, and live and work in harsh and stressful environment in conflict areas.
Periodically accompanies the military on deployments.
Some station offices are in remote locations without public transportation.
An interim Secret Security Clearance must be obtained if SSC is not currently held.
When deployed, you may be required to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week. Privacy is often limited, and you may have to share accommodations with co-workers, military members, etc.

Our nurses get to work collaboratively with physicians and act as the go-between for the physician and the patient. You will travel to different hospitals and Red Cross sites mainly Baltimore and the surrounding area. We do collections in Whitemarsh, Columbia, Towson, Salisbury, Fairfax, VA, and Washington, DC. go it into DE. Red Cross would cover the cost of a DE license. We do the following procedures: plasma exchange, red cell exchange leukapheresis, stem cell harvests, photopheresis, therapeutic phlebotomies, platelet reductions, and white blood cell depletion.
Key Responsibilities:
You will perform Apheresis procedures autonomously in multiple settings including critical care, emergency room, and freestanding outpatient centers.
Perform venipunctures, access central venous catheters, and access vortex and bard ports.
Perform all phases of therapeutic apheresis procedures (plasma exchange, red cell exchange, platelet, and white cell reduction, photopheresis, and hematopoietic progenitor cell collection), to ensure safe and appropriate care of the patient and explain, as needed, the procedures for patients and their family and other attending healthcare professionals.
Act as a consultant to external health care personnel about clinical apheresis.
Assess patient status relative to therapeutic apheresis, prior to and during procedures, utilizing the nursing process, laboratory testing results, and other clinically significant procedures.
Coordinate closely with physicians and nurses at a variety of hospitals to arrange therapeutic apheresis treatments and facilitate coordinated care.
Evaluate patient medication for compatibility and safety of apheresis procedure and determine when to contact the physician.
Assemble, restock, QC, and maintain supplies and equipment in a state of readiness to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
The American Red Cross will provide all necessary training. No experience is required.
Standard Schedule: Variable 1st shift Monday to Friday- 40 hrs per week - Rotating on calls

Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification is required.

2. Develops sustained community relationships to ensure capacity to achieve region mission goals.
2a. Revenue: ED to lead the chapter in supporting achievement of region revenue target, including support of Sound the Alarm events/STA fundraising target achievement (as applicable) and board member external solicitation goals; and meets assigned individual fundraising target by cultivating strong United Way relationships (as applicable), meeting annual chapter board member giving campaign, and maintaining a small number of key donor accounts as defined by the Regional Executive.
2.b. Mission Capacity Building: Supports achievement of the region volunteer engagement goals, blood collection goals, and community engagement mission goals by identifying and stewarding specific strategic relationships in the community and serving as a connector for internal stakeholders for these activities. Leverages the board mission capacity committee, biomed committee, diversity committee, and community volunteer leaders to meet established goals.
3. Develops and manages the chapter board to effectively mobilize support and resources around the Red Cross mission. The chapter board must meet all published board guidance for board membership, committees, and member engagement in the mission (has all required committees; board engagement plan completed for all board members using template provided; board members understand board member giving expectations and personally meet board member give and solicitation expectations).
4. Develops, leads, and manages community volunteer leaders who are responsible for serving as the Face of the Red Cross in assigned territories; supporting mission capacity building by developing key community partnerships.
5. Influences to create an environment of teamwork and inclusion to effectively deliver against the Red Cross mission by ensuring that information flow is facilitated. The Executive Director informs the regional team, as well as volunteers and staff assigned to the chapter area, of community needs and communicates the American Red Cross programs and capacity needs to the community.
6. Serves as a member of the Elected Officials Liaison Network supporting disaster responses in the chapter area, regional area and nationally. May be asked to deploy to disasters outside the chapter jurisdiction for up to 2 weeks.
The salary range for this position is (Maryland): $125,000 -133,000 +incentive.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Salesforce and.NET Developer designs and maintains enterprise applications, integrating Salesforce and .NET solutions with external systems. The developer ensures secure, scalable solutions, supports business requirements, and contributes to development standards and best practices.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishes Salesforce Governor Limits, Salesforce Data Security using Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
Develops cross-browser, responsive, and mobile friendly websites.
Works with Information Technology (IT) team to design, code, test, debug, document, modify, install, integrate, and maintain .NET programs and association management applications.
Achieves and maintains expert knowledge of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners' (AANP) current association management system through training, experience, and collaboration with existing staff.
Maintains, updates, unifies, and enhances AANP's authentication and authorization processes, including Aptify eBusiness, SAML, OAUTH, MVC 3.5 Forms Authentication, and other custom integrations. Documents and provides guidance for implementation for new and existing applications.
Works with fellow team members to provide guidance and oversight for AANP's development lifecycle. This includes providing standards, templates, and documentation for the development team to follow.
Works with the IT support team maintaining and updating sites as necessary to meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance standards each quarter.
Assists in maintaining AANP's Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure and associated integrations and vendors. This currently includes CloudFlare, Aptify Cloud, and Rackspace.
Develops SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and views of varying size and complexity to meet business requirements.
Documents procedures and instructional materials.
Translates requirements concepts between business and technical personnel.
Interacts directly with AANP staff to understand requirements and troubleshoot production issues.
Educates and advises internal clients on how to leverage available data, reports, and tools.
Monitors programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems.
Collaborates with the internal IT team, staff, management, hosting providers, and third-party development teams on design, construction, implementation and maintenance of applications and databases.
Develops, implements, and tests backup and recovery plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS). Equivalent years of experience can be substituted for education plus the minimum required years of experience.
Salesforce Developer Certification.
Experience
Required:
Seven or more years of experience configuring and building Salesforce.com solutions.
Seven or more years of experience programming in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, CSS, XML, JSON, SOQL, SOSL.
Seven or more years of experience developing and managing web-based applications with .NET development and Visual Studio.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
High school diploma or equivalent required
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required
A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes is required.
At the American Red Cross, we conduct many mobile blood drives at businesses, schools and many other locations. All staff work as a team to setup and tear down the equipment required to conduct a mobile blood drive.
Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.

The Billing and Data Specialist Makes financial calculations related to goods and services, working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Operations or general business departments of a company. Performs customer-related financial analysis, customer and vendor dispute resolution, and settlement negotiations. Assists with customer service requirements including information systems updates, pricing discrepancy resolution, and ad hoc projects as required. Performs advanced accounting activities, including journal entries, batch entries, cost allocation, and reconciliation of multiple accounts. Calculates amounts due for goods or services and prepares outgoing bills and address discrepancies.
Maintains general ledger, ensuring accuracy. Produces financial reports for upper management. Processes accounts payable and receivable. Ensures compliance by properly maintaining business records and files. Processes invoices to customers by interfacing with other personnel and validating that proper approval has been obtained prior to customer invoicing. Verifies that customer accounts are billed accurately in order to ensure proper organizational reimbursement and adjudication of customer accounts. Provides support to AR personnel to ensure appropriate payment application.
