David P. Yeager is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hub Group, one of North America’s largest transportation management companies. Son of the late Phillip C. Yeager, Hub Group’s founder, David joined the company in 1975. Over the last 40 years he has overseen the transformation of the business from an intermodal marketing company into a multi-modal solutions provider that encompasses a full range of intermodal, truck brokerage and logistics services. David is a strong advocate of strategies geared to reducing the corporate environmental footprint and promoting environmental stewardship in the transportation community. Prior to his election in 2008 as Chairman, David served as the Company’s Vice Chairman, and as President of Hub Group’s Chicago area operating company. Today, he leads Hub Group’s 2,500+ employees in their efforts to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions and industry leading service to its customers. Since its initial public offering in 1996, Hub Group has been traded on NASDAQ under the symbol HUBG. In 2015, Hub Group revenues exceeded $3.5 billion. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, David serves on the Board of Directors of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital-Chicago, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the University of Dayton, and as a lifetime Trustee of Fenwick High School. David received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton in 1975. David and his wife, Julia, reside in Hinsdale, Illinois and have three adult children, Matthew, Phillip and Laura.
