Charis attended Université de Montréal between 2005 and 2009, Sun Yat sen University between 1994 and 1997, and Xinjiang Medical University between 1987 and 1992.

Since joining APHA, I have been deeply involved in creating strategy, plans, policies and initiatives that guide the entire organization.As a member of leadership, I am involved in numerous governing committees as well as functions that include Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology.
