WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Fleet and Tech II will perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. The General Maintenance Fleet and Tech II typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair and electrical. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Gift Consultation Provide consultation on technically complex gifts, high end value gifts requiring exceptional stewardship, and gifts of assets or gifts structured in such a way that may require Territorial Gift Acceptance Committee review as well as asset type-specific due diligence review. Make this service available to donors, prospects, volunteers, volunteer groups, Salvation Army officers, and employees.
