Troubleshooting systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. Replacing existing units with new equipment as needed. Performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Ordering parts and preparing accutate work orders. Ensuring safety is always the top priority in all tasks. Ability to work at extreme heights in a demanding environment, often under urgent condition conditions. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Collaborate with area maintenance teams as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: At least (3) years experience in commercial or industrial HVAC repair. Certifications: Applicants must have, or be able to obtain, required HVAC certifications within six (6) months of the position start date. Preference will be given to candidates who already hold these certifications.
