* Provides 1st and some 2nd tier IT support for service requests while providing superior customer service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field. Work experience in IT field also considered.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
* Experience with MS Office 2016, Office 365, and Windows 10.
* Experience with web development preferred.
* Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives assignments and instructions from Manager.
Studies blueprints, specifications or sketches of the product or part to be processed, carefully examining, and measuring available models. May make or revise parts to be used as models in the construction of dies and tooling.
Studies the designs of the dies, tools, jigs, or fixtures to be built or repaired, determines any dimensions not given on design and calculates, develops, and constructs progressive, transfer, etc. dies. Plans the sequence of the work keeping in mind such facts as safety, efficiency and required tolerances.
Obtains materials, tools, instruments, and equipment as required.
Performs machine, bench, assembly, and fitting operations or directs others in such performance as instructed.
Repairs dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures determining dimensions and tolerances, if not given.
Heat treats or requests heat treatment of articles.
Carefully checks all dimensions of dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures, and sets up and performs operations or checks the set-up and operations to make sure they properly perform the purpose for which they are intended.
Sharpens tools and cutters, as necessary.
Instructs and assists apprentices and others performing operations in the tool room as directed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must possess a knowledge of mathematics including trigonometry.
Must have an extensive knowledge of the properties of metals and the theories of heat treatment.
Must be able to read and interpret for others intricate blueprints of products and tool design.
Must have exceptional ability to plan and visualize tooling requirements and finished products.
Must be capable of performing work requiring concentration and very high degrees of skill and accuracy along with the set-up and performance of all machine and bench operations in the tool room.

Monitor and improve fixtures, tools and methods to meet productivity, specifications and quality standards.
Research and recommend new tools, equipment and methodologies for product/process changes.
Evaluate existing machinery and processes to recommend improvements that enhance both operator performance and ergonomics/safety of overall production.
Optimizes floor layout, material flow manufacturing efficiencies, takt time, floor space utilization and overhead.
Develop or revise technical documentation to specify manufacturing processes.
Development testing and validation to determine effectiveness and compliance to quality standards for the manufacturing processes.
Partnering and directing contractors/vendors to complete projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing working with areas such as powder coat, upholstery, metal fabrication, welding, automated welding, metal finishing, laser cutting, tube bending or production assembly.
CAD experience - SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, building trust with factory floor workers is key.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and lead project teams.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot.
Strong computer and MS Office working knowledge.
Project management experience a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Plant environment with fluctuating environment conditions
Frequent computer work is required.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 35 pounds may be required.
Distractions such as: people, phones, office communication, etc.
Travel may occasionally be required as needed, though not typical.
