Qualifications: * Required: Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration. * Required: All Registered Dietitians will hold a current certification and/or license in the state(s) in which they are practicing. * Preferred: Nutrition documentation experience. Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, a virtual nurse practitioner, and a Dietician to support patients in achieving sustainable weight loss and improved health outcomes. We are seeking a full-time Dietician to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop personalized nutrition plans that complement medical weight loss treatments. The ideal candidate is passionate about metabolic health, weight management, and patient-centered care. Schedule & Compensation: * Full-time position (40 hours/week) * Hybrid work model available, though the majority of the role is on-site at Optum Smokey Point * Competitive salary and benefits package, including CME opportunities This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week. Primary Responsibilities: * Conduct individualized nutrition assessments for patients pursuing weight loss and metabolic health improvement * Develop and implement personalized dietary plans based on patients' medical conditions, lifestyle, and goals * Provide ongoing counseling, education, and motivational support to patients * Collaborate with physicians and the virtual nurse practitioner to integrate nutrition therapy into comprehensive treatment plans * Stay current with emerging research in metabolic health, weight management, and lifestyle medicine * Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress in the electronic health record (EHR) system * Offer group education sessions or workshops on nutrition, meal planning, and behavior change strategies * Assist in developing clinic protocols, nutrition-related materials, and dietary guidelines You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
