Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 48-hour/week ICU position requiring TNCC, Epic proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience.
Responsibilities
Position is in a 39-bed mixed ICU caring for medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients
Typical diagnoses include ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-cardiac catheterization, post-surgical, and multiple system trauma
Cardiac experience with CABG/TAVR patients is preferred but not required
Nurse-to-patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, and rarely 1:3 based on acuity
48-hour work weeks with 12-hour day shifts
Weekend rotation every other weekend, though not guaranteed
No on-call responsibilities
Floating is rare but possible to adult Medsurg/Tele units with up to 1:4 ratios
Uses Epic EMR and Alaris/Baxter pumps, transitioning to Baxter by October
Will work collaboratively within a supportive ICU team including nurse aides, charge nurses, intensivists, APPs, and respiratory therapists
Orientation includes a hospital session plus one 12-hour and one 8-hour ICU shift
Navy scrubs required
No RTO approved during holidays or Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks of August)
Free parking is provided
ICU RNs may be required to float to the Emergency Department
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
This is a traveler-friendly environment and extensions are encouraged
Requirements
Active RN license and completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required (TNCC must be obtained before arrival if not already held)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience strongly preferred; 1.5 years considered with extensive additional RN experience outside ICU
Epic charting experience required
Experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, proning, telemetry, and strong assessment skills
Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT equipment is strongly preferred
Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
Candidates must live at least 100 miles from any Monument Health facility
Former permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler

Responsibilities
Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 Cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR rooms
Patient population includes coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex occlusions, valvular and renal disease, carotid and peripheral stenosis, thrombosis, Impella and LVAD insertions
No floating required as IR and Cath Lab are separate departments
Shifts are two 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am per week
On call 1-2 nights per week from 4:30 pm to 6:00 am and every 4th weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning
Weekend rotation required every 4th weekend
Uses Epic charting system (required) and Epic Cupid (preferred), as well as Alaris and Omnicell equipment
Responsibilities include performing advanced coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral interventions, as well as device insertions such as Impella and LVAD
Support team includes a charge nurse available weekdays from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Four-day orientation with 10-hour shifts provided
Scrub attire is procedural and provided

Expectation for possible holiday coverage, typically 1 per assignment
Time off requests must be approved by the manager
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cath Lab with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral procedures
BLS, ACLS, and RT or equivalent or RCIS certification required
Associate's degree (AA/AAS) required
Must demonstrate skills in table movement (panning), arrhythmia recognition and treatment, and critical patient assessment
Experience with Epic EMR required

Orientation includes 2 days of classroom/online education and two 12-hour preceptor shifts

Centralized tele monitoring is available 24/7 for rhythm and alarm notification support

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with strong OR experience and ARRT certification for a variable shift position.
Responsibilities
Work in a medical imaging department specializing in X-Ray procedures
Serve patients in outpatient, inpatient, ED, OR, NICU, pediatrics, and vented/sedated populations
Majority of time will be spent performing X-ray procedures in the OR
Perform whole body, musculoskeletal, neuro, and portable X-rays
Average daily patient load is 15-20
Equipment includes Carestream portables, GE rooms, and GE C-arm
Varied shifts across a 40-hour week; weekend rotation, on-call, and holiday expectations discussed during interview
EPIC and Sectra EMR systems are used; EPIC experience preferred
No floating required
Role focuses on X-ray imaging for diverse patient populations, with a heavy emphasis on OR cases
One week of orientation is provided
Provided blue OR procedural scrubs must be worn while on duty
Free parking available for staff
Facility is traveler friendly and open to first-time travelers
No local travelers are permitted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
Approval for time off must be obtained in advance
License required if applicable
Requirements
Current ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist required
BLS certification required
One year of experience required, three years preferred
Strong experience in the OR is mandatory
Experience with C-arm and trauma level 1 or 2 environments necessary
EMR experience with EPIC preferred

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience for a night shift position.
Responsibilities
Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with 2 dedicated cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR rooms
Care provided for patients with coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, valvular and renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, and device insertions such as Impella and LVAD
Unit does not require floating to IR; departments are separate
Shift schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, 6:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Friday with no Saturdays
On-call required 1-2 days per week from 4:30pm to 6:00am and every 4th weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning
Weekend rotation is every fourth weekend
Charting is completed in Epic (required), with Epic Cupid experience preferred
Alaris and Omnicell equipment utilized
Orientation is 4 days with 10-hour shifts
Responsible for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, including complex device support insertion
Collaboration with experienced charge nurse support during weekdays
Procedural scrubs are provided
Free parking is available on site
Holiday coverage may be required for one holiday during the assignment
Time off requests must be approved by the manager
First-time travelers will be considered if experienced in required cases
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cath lab with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral cases
BLS and ACLS required
RT (or equivalent), or RCIS required
Associate's degree (AA/AAS) required
Demonstrated ability to perform table movement (panning)
Arrhythmia recognition, critical patient assessment, and emergency management skills required
Must be proficient with Epic EMR
Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as travelers
License required if applicable

Responsibilities
Work in a combined Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) unit
Unit includes a 15-bed Pediatric Unit and a 5-bed PICU
Patient population includes ages 0-18 and occasional stable adult overflow with varied conditions, including medical, surgical, trauma, and critical care cases
RN patient ratios: 1:5 for general Pediatrics and 1:1-2 for Advanced Care Pediatrics
Shift is 12-hour variable with every other weekend rotation
May be placed on low census/on-call status as needed
Floating to a 30-bed NICU (primarily feeder/grower infants) with a 1:3 ratio may occur
Uses Epic EMR and Omnicell equipment
Responsibilities include evaluating symptoms and vital signs, medication administration, and patient/family education
RNs and nurse aides perform their own lab draws; RNs start IVs, with ultrasound available for difficult cases
Support available from CNAs, charge nurse, hospitalist, RT, Pediatric APPs, pharmacy, case management, and social work
Unit provides a traveler-friendly, supportive environment with a focus on growth and learning
One day facility orientation and two days unit orientation with a preceptor
Holiday coverage is required for all major holidays
Navy scrubs required
Free parking is available in a garage
First-time travelers considered if they have more than 2 years of experience
No local travelers permitted within a 100-mile radius
