Job Description As a Clinical Research Assistant, you'll be responsible for completing the certified vision tasks for each study protocol they are assigned to, processing research referrals, printing and mailing informed consents to patients that have been referred to the research department. Responsibilities Adhere to study according to protocol guidelines. Reviews and comprehends each assigned protocol including study proceedings and timelines, inclusion and exclusion criteria, confidentiality and privacy protections. Be familiar and adhere to all federal drug administration, good clinical practice, and office of human subject research regulations and guidelines. Communicate with referring physician's offices in order to obtain data necessary to complete study requirements. Attendance of sponsor prequalification visits, monitor visits, study termination visits as applicable. Actively recruit and be involved in competitive enrollment. Assist physicians in data search and analysis for research studies. Always mark charge ticket with the type of study that the patient is enrolled in. Responds to data clarification requests in a timely manner. Maintains subject screening logs and protocol deviation logs. Maintains a spreadsheet tracking updates to database of all subjects referred to research. Completes documentation on each study visit that is used to track all study related activities so that time, effort and materials can be accounted for on a monthly basis. Works collaboratively with the other members of the clinical research team and the clinical and administrative support teams to ensure all protocols are followed and that there is timely documentation and submission of study data. Performed unmasked/masked roles as assigned. Overview As a Clinical Research Photographer, you'll be responsible for daily patient care and clinical flow. You will be responsible for accurately photographing fluorescein angiograms, ICG, fundus photos and OCT's. Responsibilities Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care. Performing technical workups, patient interviews and special testing. Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, surgery scheduling, etc. Maintaining and cleaning all equipment being used. Report to manager if not in working condition. Attending required meetings. Efficiently and accurately interviews patients prior to photography testing to ensure awareness of any health or allergy restrictions. Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, symptoms and ocular meds. Has a working understanding and accurately preforms the following B-Scans, fundus photos, fluorescein angiography, ICG, FAF and OCT's. Utilizes proper eye drop technique and sterility. What is the pathology to be photographed? Determine Study Eye Maintain research photography protocol binders and resources. Photograph subjects as per the study protocol. Upload all research photos as per the study protocol and answer any queries that may arise. Complete GCP certification prior to working on any research protocols. Overview As a Coding Manager, you will train to properly code claims to capture charges and correctly bill for services performed. Training and Revenue Integrity minimizes departmental rework, reprocessing of multiple claims from misaligned coding, and tracks and trends repeated missed opportunities for compliant charging and proactively finds and/or provides input regarding tools to streamline and/or improve charging processes. This position assists with maximizing revenue by identifying trends and remediate charge leakage or overage. Responsibilities Analyze daily financial exceptions from the charge capture audit reports to determine areas of leakage and partner with information technology and clinical service lines to rectify charge capture issues by assisting service lines to improve their ability to capture compliant charges. Perform root cause analysis, when warranted by continuous trends when warranted by continuous trends, to pinpoint areas process gaps and continue to monitor and remediate any trends of charge leakage or overcharges Ability to track and report the percentage of generated revenue and overall improvement related to any new initiative. Job Description As a Surgery Assistant, your strong detail orientation and multi-tasking skills will be valuable in our fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll assist the peri-operative team in ensuring that surgery proceeds smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
