Amber Howe is a Chief People Officer at AMERICAN WELL CORP and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. She has worked as SVP, Sr. HR Business Director, Retail and Customer Experience at Santander Bank; Vice President, Sr. HR Business Partner at CITIZENS, INC.; and Staffing Consultant at Crowe. Amber studied at Calvin University between 1994 and 1998 and Grand Valley State University between 1998 and 2003.

Jason Medeiros serves as Amwell’s Chief Information Officer and Security Officer. Jason has spent 25 years leading engineering and security programs in large production environments. Prior to joining Amwell, Jason served as Director of SS7 & Intelligent Network Engineering at Boston Communications Group, Inc., where he led signaling and SaaS operations of real-time billing platforms for national wireless operators. Jason holds a Master of Science in Information Security as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from Brandeis University.

Kurt Knight is Chief Operating Officer at Amwell and oversees the business and operational aspects of the company. He came to Amwell with an extensive background in healthcare, including experience at the Boston Consulting Group focused on pharma and global health, at Hill-Rom where he created a new home care business, and with the Gates Foundation, Save the Children, and Unicef where he worked on various global health challenges. Kurt holds an MPH from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard.

Mr. Shepardson joins Amwell from Morgan Stanley where he held various leadership roles in Global Capital Markets and in Media and Communications Investment Banking. Most recently, Mr. Shepardson held the position of Managing Director in Global Capital Markets with responsibility for all equity issuance in the Healthcare vertical. Shepardson recently led financings for multiple high-growth healthcare companies including Amwell, One Medical, Accolade, Oak Street Health, Certara, Alignment Healthcare, Lifestance and Stevanato. Mr. Shepardson serves on the board of The Alliance for Positive Change, an organization focused on transforming the lives of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Serkan Kutan serves as Amwell’s Chief Technology Officer where he is responsible for leading the continued development and scaling of Amwell’s telehealth platform. Serkan brings extensive experience in leading technology teams across the healthcare industry and joins Amwell from Haven, a joint venture established by Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JPMorgan Chase, where he was focused on driving rapid innovation through pilots and building a data platform to generate insights. Serkan also served as the CTO of Zocdoc, where he led the transformation of the tech stack, migration to Amazon Web Services and reorganizing the product engineering function which led to significant improvements in product innovation speed and quality. Earlier in his career, Serkan held key technology leadership roles at Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Microsoft. He received his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Bilkent University in Turkey.

Brendan O'Grady is a Chief Commercial & Growth Officer at AMERICAN WELL CORP. He has worked as Board Member at AMERICAN WELL CORP, CCO:Global Specialty Medicine at Teva Pharmaceutical Indus Ltd, and Exec VP:North America Commercial at Teva Pharmaceutical Indus Ltd. Brendan studied at Baker University and SUNY Geneseo.
