POSITION PURPOSE: The Technical Manager -- Oracle ERP (Manufacturing) is a key member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery of business system design and development used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires expertise in areas of business operations, business processes, application technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across the key business functions of Manufacturing processes. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. Experience * 7+ years of Oracle ERP experience and at least 4+ years' experience in Oracle Cloud. * At least 3 project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of Oracle Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance is required. * Oracle ERP Cloud Manufacturing experience as outlined below: * Manufacturing: Setup of parts and BOM, standard costs related categories planning/costing etc. Operations: Setup of new workstations, resources, routings, locators, and related Mfg. setup labels. * Quality Management: Set up Inspection plans, Inline and Adhoc Inspections, and Oracle Social Network (OSN) support for Inspection plans and inspections. Inspection Web services and RF-SMART Integration. * Maintenance Management: Configuration of maintenance organizations, Maintenance master data, Assets and part list items, and Maintenance work definitions. * Knowledge of cross-module integration of Quality Management with Inventory, Manufacturing/ Maintenance, and Product Management * Integration experience with RF-Smart or with any other barcode solutions * Oracle Cloud SCM implementation certifications are preferred. Skills * Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills * Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead design sessions and communicate future state processes to different levels in the organization. * Demonstrate proven knowledge and success in gathering business requirements, designing, and implementing Oracle cloud applications-based solutions. * Thorough knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain, Planning, and Manufacturing modules with a good understanding of industry best practices. * Knowledge of Oracle Product Data HUB is desirable. * Expertise in implementing some combination of Oracle Supply Chain applications such as Plan to Manufacture (PTM), Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Product Hub, Inventory Costing, or Configurator. * Ability to collaborate with other functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of the projects. * Keep current with industry trends and development for technologies in assigned areas to assist in evaluating and developing plans and assess business implications for each project stage. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsibilities include serving as a functional analyst/ systems expert for Oracle Cloud ERP Manufacturing, including enterprise application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, solution development, service support, application security, and IT compliance. * Participate in ERP -- Digital Transformation project. There is exposure to moving mechanical parts as well as exposure to high noise levels, dust, and mill scale. Smoke produced from weld processes is also a factor to consider with this position. Hazards Because the Scale Operator travels all over the site as part of their job, there is inherent exposure to many different hazards not seen by operators in other departments. This job requires handling metal objects, some of which have sharp edges. There is a risk of cuts, scrapes and abrasions mainly to the hand as well as sunburn from working outside. Some employee may find allergies to solvents or coolants used around the area in which they work. This job has exposure to other occupational health and accident hazards such as eye injury from dust and dirt. There is frequent pivoting, walking, bending and lifting during the work shift. For the most part, the accident hazard level is low to moderate, and any probable injury may come from working with sharp metal edges or from performing improper lifting or moving of equipment without exercising reasonable care and observing safety regulations. Occasional exposure to tripping or slipping is present and employees must use caution when working around ice, snow and wet surfaces. Employee must wear PPE in all areas as required. LINE OF PROMOTION The direct line of promotion for the Scale Operator would be a promotion to Dressing Lead.
