The Beautician performs standard beauty salon services such as Shampoo and dry, Hair Cut and style, Hair Color, Perm, basic nail care, and etc. with special consideration given for the needs of an aging population. Our Receptionist receives callers at facility, determines nature of business, and directs visitors or vendors to destination while protecting confidentiality of residents. Answers phones and obtains pertinent information and transfers call to appropriate person or voice mail. Use computer to obtain or transfer messages. May work in office of facility or in lobby, may perform a variety of clerical duties. May collect and distribute mail and messages. Work directly with administrator to decrease number of interruptions by taking messages or referring calls or visitors to others who can assist. As the first contact in the facility, it is imperative that the receptionist has a pleasant and positive attitude with a neat and clean appearance as this is the first impression of visitors and potential residents. Position Summary: Our Maintenance team keeps nursing facility, surrounding buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition and tends furnace, air-conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for residents, performing any combination of following duties: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, office space etc. Regulates flow of fuel into automatic furnace. Empties trash and garbage containers. Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical, wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. Replaces air-conditioner filters. Cautions residents and staff regarding complaints of excessive noise, disorderly conduct or misuse of property. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or replacements to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk and grounds. Mows lawn, trips shrubbery, and cultivates flowers, using hand tools and power tools. Post signs to advertise vacancies and shows empty rooms to prospective residents or families if necessary. This position is part time, 32 hours per week.
