Primary Responsibility : Responsible for the planning, facilitating, leading, and completing of operational and continuous improvement initiatives that support cost reduction, productivity, and quality objectives of the company. This position is a key role in improving operational e-Commerce capabilities and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The position is e-Commerce focused and supports regional initiatives that add value, reduce cost, deliver savings, improve quality, and focus on customer satisfaction. What You'll Do : * Lead, mentor and manage operational e-Commerce improvement initiatives, regionally and at the site-level, applying lean and continuous improvement methodologies in order to meet project goals and milestones. * Partner with General Managers, other operational leaders, and support teams to develop and execute business strategies and tactics, for the purpose of countering risk to operational and financial objectives. * Partner with process owners and business team leaders to identify opportunities and select operational and continuous improvement projects, which may include implementing Lean concepts, when applicable to the business model. * Recognize labor management opportunities and improve regional utilization, activity reporting, and performance management, and cost-reduction for various Americold-based Labor Management Systems (LMS). * Partner with process owners and business teams to create a culture which supports process management; data driven decision making, and continuous improvement; aligned with established strategy, vision, goals, and objectives. * Partner on customer-facing projects, for the purpose of improving quality, exceeding service expectations, and maximizing customer satisfaction. * Participate in customer business reviews (when requested) and collaborate with business development personnel in support of customer-facing opportunities. * Drive customer focus through supply chain initiatives, on-site production improvements, error-proofing, and defect reduction. * Support revenue growth and reductions in controllable expenses, through cost analysis of customer business profiles and cost of service evaluations. * Lead, coach, train and mentor teams in the use of LSCI tools and processes. Serving as a change agent, assist teams in solving high level and/or complex problems resulting in breakthrough levels of performance improvement. * Support the training, deployment and implementation of LSCI in the region / functional area. This includes mentoring Green and Yellow Belts throughout the organization, providing guidance and direction as needed to ensure they are successful with their projects. * Support the implementation / leverage of best practices across the company to ensure process improvements are institutionalized throughout the business, where applicable. * Train, coach, and challenge process owners in the use of statistical tools, approaches, and techniques to create process management and measurement systems. * Ensure effective control and adoption of improvements by local process owners. Lead efforts to implement process-control and management-process mapping, documentation, metrics, monitoring systems, and process ownership. * Maintain project performance measures, reporting to leadership on project status, as required. * Other duties as assigned. What Experience and Education You Need : * High school graduation and professional-level experience in an applicable field; preferably in the warehousing and distribution industry. * Bachelor's Degree (unspecified) preferred. * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred). * Previous work experience across multiple functions of distribution, logistics, or the warehousing related industry. * Preferred experience around small parcel shipping. Summary: The Director of Operations, P&D is the national leader for CEVA's P&D product in the United States. This role oversees all District Directors and holds full P&L ownership for stations and districts nationwide. The Level II Technician performs all aspects of MHE planned and unplanned maintenance service on LP or electric equipment. Individual must be an expert in one of the two (LP or electrical) and self-sufficient on all repairs associated to this equipment. This position requires knowledge of mechanics, hand tools, and basic automotive experience. Must have computer experience, good communication skills and good customer service skills. This position will report to a lead tech or manager level and support level 3 techs. Primary Responsibility: Under general supervision, works independently performing routine refrigeration maintenance and repair throughout the warehouse. What You'll Do: Performs operation, repair and adjustment of refrigeration system. Monitors system performance and determines when system is not operating correctly. Primary Responsibility : Drives and operates a shuttle truck and/or semi-truck to transport trailers to appropriate location(s) on the premises in observance of traffic and safety regulations. What You'll Do : * Chocks rear wheels of vehicle prior to any loading or unloading, and removes same chocks prior to driving away. Operates trailer and dock doors and removes and/or installs safety devices as needed or as necessary. * Ensures truck(s) and trailer system(s) are secure and in working order, including seals, jacks, and doors, by performing service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, and air levels in tires and truck seals. Reports any maintenance needs or equipment malfunctions to appropriate supervisor and maintenance personnel. * Loads and unloads truck(s) and railcar(s) by using forklift, pallet jack, or dock loader, and moving product onto and/or off of pallet in correct position following instructions for equipment operation. Reports faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to appropriate supervisor. * Obtains and maintains necessary paperwork and related records, inventories product(s) as needed or as necessary, and labels, sorts, wraps, and/or ties product using proper equipment and techniques. * Maintains a work area free and clear of loose debris, wood, plastic and other obstacles which may impede operations, and sweeps work area as needed or as necessary. * Performs other driving and/or warehouse-related duties as required or as requested. What Experience and Education You Need : * High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. * May require current and valid forklift certification. * No more than one (1) moving violation citation such as reckless driving or speeding in excess of fifteen (15) miles above the posted speed limit within the previous twelve (12) months, and no more than three (3) within the previous three (3) years. * No DUI citations. What Could Set You Apart : * Successful passing of background screen, pre-employment drug test, and other required physical and medical examinations. * Demonstrated ability to enter and exit truck as well as hook and unhook trailering equipment. * Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal and customer service communication skills sufficient to read and interpret shipping invoices and other warehouse documents and partner with customers and other co-workers. * Demonstrated mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals sufficient to complete required papers and documents. * Demonstrated possession and application of reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, and speaking skills necessary to interact and respond to customers, co-workers, and management staff effectively. * Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and scopes may change regularly while maintaining accuracy. Demonstrated ability to self-start with little or no direction preferred. Physical Requirements : * Demonstrated ability to sit for long periods of time in a vehicle. Also must be able to repeatedly and quickly adjust vehicle controls to exact positions for several hours per day. * Demonstrated manual dexterity and coordination of two (2) or more limbs with normal movements while sitting, standing, or lying down. This does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. * Demonstrated ability to talk, hear, and see sufficiently to complete assigned tasks. Must be able to visually identify details from distances. * May be required to carry loads related to travel and occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. * Demonstrated ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions sufficient to partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes. * Demonstrated judgment skills sufficient to identify which of several objects is closer or farther away and to accurately ascertain distance between self and other objects. * Demonstrated ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. * Demonstrated ability to tolerate environments that may have temperatures at or below freezing for extended periods of time.
