**Job Description:**
JOB SUMMARY
This position on the Customer Success Team works with customers and business partners across multiple business functions to help successfully setup and onboard customers onto their UPS Capital solution. This position is responsible for ensuring successful customer setup and onboarding, as well as providing subject matter expertise support throughout the initial stages of the customer journey. Additionally, this position serves as a single point of contact for all customer inquiries post-purchase to provide expedient resolution of customer inquiries, requests, and issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports successful and expedient activation and onboarding of customers (Direct, Channels & Platforms) to expedite transaction production, increase customer retention, and reduce churn
- Provides a seamless onboarding customer experience through the initial stages of the customer journey using a combination of interactive demonstrations, proactive customer outreach and follow up, and daily activity monitoring
- Trains customers on tools, systems, and solutions to ensure thorough customer understanding
- Nurtures customers through activation and proper solution usage and proactively resolve customer issues
- Audits customer milestones for accuracy and operational effectiveness, and provide expedient resolution of issues (milestones include solution go-live, first transaction, first bill, first claim)
- Troubleshoots technical issues in real-time (live) for customers' digital solutions and coordinate technical issue resolution with IT
- Balances multiple deployments and onboarding schedules to meet stakeholder goals and expectations
- Provides one centralized place for all customer support and inquiries, providing an easy and seamless customer support experience with one-call resolution (onboarding and technology integration, policy information & modifications, customer service and account information, billing, claims)
- Collect Voice of Customer feedback to help inform product and roadmap strategy and design

Incumbent has responsibility for overall administrative and technical direction of the assigned workforce consisting of Airway Transportation Systems Specialists (ATSS) and support staff involved in providing National Air Space (NAS) services to En Route/Terminal air traffic control to the commercial airlines, and general aviation aircraft for a defined area. Reports directly to a District Manager (DM) or District Facilities Manager (DFM).
Directs the work of subordinate employees for at least one organizational unit/project/program within a major subdivision. Duties typically include planning/communicating the organization's vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance, coaching and developing employee capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate.
Exercises authority for supervisory responsibilities over staff, including staff scheduling and approval of leave. Assures equity of performance standards and rating techniques developed for subordinates. In addition to evaluating work performance, justifies recommendations for awards/bonuses for positions in the unit for higher-level approval. Performs critical aspects of the budget planning process, including projecting short-term and long-term future needs and justifying resource requirements.
Identifies developmental training needs for employees and self and requests for and/or arranges needed developmental and operational training. Communicates unconventional training requests with higher level management to determine accessibility, available funding and best use of resources. Gives advice, counsel or instructions to employees on technical, operational, and/or administrative matters. Hears and resolves complaints from employees at the informal stage, referring group grievances and more serious, unresolved complaints to the higher level manager. Effects minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands, recommending other action in more serious cases. Fosters a fair and equitable work environment.
Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, an advanced knowledge of budget, human resources, and other administrative policies and procedures, and an advanced understanding of the objectives of the organization. Responsible for applying program resources.
Contacts are primarily within the organizational unit, major subdivision and the LOB/SO with subordinates, peers, and higher-level managers to discuss the status of projects/programs and to plan for the future. May have frequent contact with customers, other government entities, and other external parties to interpret policies/procedures or for other project/program purposes. Has authority to make commitments for subordinate organizational units, within guidelines.
Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the SSC. Participates in planning and executing organizational goals utilizing strategic planning and sound management principles in order to accomplish mission objectives.
Work is typically governed by established policies, procedures, and organizational objectives that frequently leave room for discretion. Resolves all but unique problems without the intervention of higher-level management. Regularly called upon to identify problem areas and to develop and recommend new policies and procedures for resolution.
Individual and organizational performance is typically reviewed periodically by higher-level management, usually through status reports and organization performance measures. Consults with higher-level management to ensure the alignment of projects/programs with the tactical (short-term) objectives of the major subdivision.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, pay band FV-I level or FG/GS-13 is required for the I pay band position. Specialized experience is defined as experience in the FV-2101 occupation or in a related occupation, which equips the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Additionally, an extensive knowledge of and experience in technology, systems interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation navigation, and electronics systems is required.

Basic Qualifications: A. C.H. Robinson is seeking a strategic, visionary leader to launch and scale a new team focused on our Short Haul business (0-250 miles) within North America Surface Transportation (NAST). As General Manager - Short Haul, you will build the team from the ground up, define strategy and structure, oversee onboarding, and drive sustained growth.
With supply chains regionalizing and haul lengths shrinking, Short Haul is a critical growth area. You'll lead the current team of five Capacity Market Managers and expand with individual contributors, shaping a new business unit that influences enterprise strategy and delivers impact through operational excellence, supply acquisition, business development, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, achieving key business and financial objectives, generating demand through carrier relationships, and developing talent to ensure long-term success.
In this role, you will work on-site with your peers five days a week, fostering creativity and producing impactful results through face-to-face interactions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and profitability in Short Haul operations
+ Build and lead Short Haul Execution team, including hiring, onboarding, and talent development
+ Align costing and pricing to win market share while maximizing profitability
+ Drive performance against scorecard KPIs with a continuous improvement mindset
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development Managers, Pricing Operations, Costing Operations, Commercial Leaders, Product, Marketing, and Capacity teams
+ Design and implement programs that deliver industry-leading solutions
+ Leverage deep knowledge of C.H. Robinson's products and services to identify growth opportunities, optimize solutions, and stay ahead of industry trends
+ Align the team with enterprise strategic goals, regularly communicate key metrics, and motivate employees to achieve business results
+ Identify operational gaps and deploy resources and technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and financial outcomes
+ Strengthen carrier and customer relationships through targeted engagement strategies
+ Drive performance and growth of team leaders and reports through coaching, feedback, and mentoring
+ Review engagement data, implement plans to foster a positive culture, and support retention
+ Champion and lead change management initiatives by actively driving communication, implementation, and sustained reinforcement across teams
+ Ensure alignment with organization goals while fostering engagement, adaptability, and accountability throughout the transformation process
+ Plan, strategize, and deploy resources to drive business opportunities and manage daily service delivery
+ Build, manage, and leverage internal relationships across all layers of the organization to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, issue resolution, process, and/or service improvements to maximize efficiencies and results
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 7 years logistics industry experience
+ Minimum 3 years of people management experience
+ Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong knowledge of C.H. Robinson's carrier and/or commercial-facing business
+ Broad market and industry knowledge, and vertical expertise (if applicable)
+ Experience leading other leaders
+ Proven experience utilizing analytical tools to understand and manage business
+ Demonstrated success in generating revenue or business growth and able to drive results through others
+ Financial management experience and ability to understand and communicate financial metrics
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in presenting to both internal and external audiences
+ Demonstrated collaboration, influence, relationship building, and negotiation skills
+ Experience consulting with multiple stakeholders across varying organizational levels, both internally and externally
+ Strong organizational and problem resolution skills

**Compensation Range**
$125,600.00 - $287,300.00
