Great company to work for. I have affiliatiated with Ameriprise over 25 years
No real draw backs. Very satisfied
The strong history and strong brand
My team had great people. The environment was very collaborative.
The corporate culture was not friendly
I like my boss and the people I work with.
Ameriprise will tell you that you are a team and we all support each other. But if you work in a branch office and you do something absolutely tremendous (like bring in a huge client or be rated in the top 1% in your position or something), all the company will do is thank you. Meanwhile your manager and everyone on up to the CEO gets a bonus based on the work you did.
