Responsible for developing new and further penetrating existing vendor and or end user customers, support the sales team in various ways by assisting with training and helping develop new salespeople.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
* Prospect and develop new and existing vendor and or end user customer relationships. Call Expectations of 100 per day for the first year.
* Drive originations and or gross margin to stated objectives.
* Collects and analyzes information regarding customer's income, assets, investments, or debts.
* Provides appropriate financing solutions which address customers' individual needs after assessment of customer's experience, assets, debt, and experience with financing products.
* Works with small and mid-size businesses to assist in securing funding by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.
* Assist with financing sales training on a regular basis through sales meetings, conference calls, tradeshows and scheduled one-on-one phone calls.
* Develop strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor and end user customers.
* Work with existing vendors and or end user customers to enhance their financing program solutions.
* Attends various trade shows nationwide as required.
* Ensure all new programs are properly administered and communicated.
* Collaborate with Balboa Capital's management and support teams to drive success to defined objectives.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

We are seeking a talented and driven Manager Solutions Engineering to join our growing North America team. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you will act as the primary technical expert for our largest strategic enterprise merchants. Job Description
* Lead technical pre-sales discussions, delivering compelling product demonstrations and platform presentations to prospective enterprise merchants.
* Architect elegant and scalable payment solutions tailored to the unique business requirements and technical landscapes of our largest strategic clients.
* Act as the primary technical advisor for our strategic enterprise accounts, partnering closely with the Sales team to drive new revenue and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities in the post-sale phase.
* Guide merchants through the entire technical integration lifecycle, from initial implementation to a successful go-live, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience.
* Serve as the voice of the merchant internally, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Financial Partnerships, and Finance teams to solve complex technical challenges and influence the product roadmap.
* Become a subject matter expert on the Checkout.com platform and the broader payments ecosystem.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience within the payments industry is essential.
* Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of API-based integrations, specifically with REST/JSON APIs, and proficiency with related development tools like Postman.
* A natural problem-solver with strong analytical and debugging skills, capable of reproducing, isolating, and clearly explaining technical issues using logs, API responses, and other diagnostic tools.
* The ability to distill complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to a business audience.
* Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and effectively manage shifting priorities.
* A strong technical acumen is highly preferred, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Previous experience in a similar role such as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Implementation Engineer is a strong plus.

Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and room rental.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
Advanced level of producing room, banquet, and room rental revenue through directly soliciting business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating, and closing sales.
Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current, and potential clients.
Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts.
Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
Prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers.
Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
Advanced knowledge of market trends, competition, and key customers of the hotel.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of past sales experience preferred.
Must have experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
