Ameritas CEO and leadership

Sue Wilkinson is a Petersburg, Nebraska, native with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Wilkinson began her career with Ameritas in 1995 as a corporate accountant and has held key leadership roles throughout the organization. She was elected executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer in 2018.

She serves on the board of directors for Bryan College of Health Sciences, Lincoln Chamber Economic Development Corp., Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Foundation and each Ameritas subsidiary.

Wilkinson is an audit committee member of the Diocese of Lincoln and University of Nebraska Foundation and serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business. She is also a member of the Nebraska Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Wilkinson was awarded the 2020 Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry from the Nebraska Society of CPAs. She was inducted into the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Accountancy Hall of Fame in 2017 and was a recipient of the Young Alumni Achievement Award from the Nebraska Alumni Association in 2008. Wilkinson was also awarded the “40 Under 40 Award” from the Lincoln Business Journal in 2006.

Robert Jurgensmeier is a Senior VP/Chief Actuary at Ameritas Mutual Holding Co, Exec VP:Individual Product & Independent Distribution at ACACIA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, and Exec VP:Individual Product & Independent Distribution at Ameritas and is based in Lincoln, Nebraska Area. He has worked as Senior VP/Chief Actuary at Ameritas, Sr. VP & Actuary at LINCOLN BENEFIT LIFE CO, and Chairman at Enterprise Ventures Ltd. Robert works or has worked as FELLOW at Society of Actuaries (SOA), BOARD MEMBER at CHI Nebraska Heart Hospital, and MEMBER at Nebraska Actuaries Club. He studied at University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1991 and 1995.
