Education:
4 year Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience:

Technician for satellite communications industry
Responsibilities include alignment, testing, troubleshooting and repair of high power solid state microwave amplifiers with a block upconverter and a digital control interface.
Requires ability to understand standard RF test measurements and a familiarity with RF test equipment, including but not limited to: Spectrum analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.
Job involves tuning high power RF amplifiers to meet customer specifications. Will be working on S-Band, C-Band, X-Band, and Ku-Band amplifiers. Knowledge of standard RF test parameters is important - gain, power, VSWR, intermodulation distortion, 1dB compression, harmonics, etc.
Qualifications:
Two year associates degree in electronics or equivalent military/work experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and test programs for machines used in cabinet manufacturing
Assist in troubleshooting and validating engineering drawings, product designs, and software programs

Design and update 2D and 3D CAD blocks, including hardware components
Review and correct bill-of-materials (BOMs) and resolve material inconsistencies in engineering software

Conduct data entry and support data integrity across multiple software systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and modify detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Microvellum and Inventor.
Assist in the development of custom millwork designs and engineering solutions.
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to produce accurate shop drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
Maintain drawing standards and file organization within the engineering database.
Support the documentation of design processes and best practices.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and familiarity with Microvellum or similar woodworking/CAD software.
