We are searching for entry level Assemblers to work 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) Monday through Friday. In this role you will help move a product towards the consumer market. You will be responsible for the assembly, packaging, and other steps along the production line of various medical devices as required by clients. Requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA, ISO, and environmental requirements and must adhere to safety guidelines and standards to ensure the products are properly assembled and packaged. This position includes a 10% shift differential for working 2nd shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountable for the day-to-day manufacturing activities, which include but are not limited to: * Work on the required manufacturing shop orders/work load * Maintain appropriate training as required by the company * Production accuracy and quality * Accurately follow manufacturing procedures and quality standards * Ensure that the proper material is available to perform the assigned manufacturing work * As required, work with Engineering personnel to assist and develop process and equipment validation/qualification plans and protocols * Assist/support in the execution of such plans, which include testing, data collection, etc. * Provide problem solving support to the manufacturing operation as required * Work closely with and play an integral role in the team building process with other cross-functional groups including, but not limited to, Quality Department and Development * Other responsibilities as required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required: * High School diploma, or equivalent * Must have transportation to work on-site in Mansfield, MA. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Monitor inventory and perform cycle counting. Maintain inventory accuracy, processing of material reports, and transfers. Issue and deliver all materials for assembly, shipment, etc. on bills of material or requisition. Prepare, check, and pack a variety of products and equipment for domestic or foreign shipment. Use specific packaging methods and review paperwork for accuracy. Make shipments in accordance with schedules and with applicable orders. Check order for inclusion of all items. Perform ERP system transactions immediately upon acceptance or completion of a specific task. Operate all material handling equipment including power fork trucks. Following all department operating instructions and applicable quality manual instruction. **IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:** Monitor inventory and perform cycle counting. Maintain inventory accuracy, processing of material reports, and transfers. Operate cutoff saw following routing steps. Perform material handling duties to include, receiving incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods. Perform internal receiving and storing of machined parts, partial or subassemblies and purchased parts. Check and verify quantities comparing to packing lists, weights, type size, part numbers, etc., Identify materials to deliver or store in assigned locations. Fill requisitions and orders promptly and accurately and deliver to proper locations. Identify defective products and materials and report defective items to the supervisor. If a quantity discrepancy is discovered report to the supervisor for inventory adjustment. Unload trucks. Issue and deliver all materials for assembly, shipment, etc. on bills of material or requisition. Prepare, check, and pack a variety of products and equipment for domestic or foreign shipment. Use specific packaging methods and review paperwork for accuracy. Make shipments in accordance with schedules and with applicable orders. Check order for inclusion of all items. Perform ERP system transactions immediately upon acceptance or completion of a specific task. Operate all material handling equipment including power fork trucks.
