We are looking for a mechanical assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to: * Assemble, modify, wire solder, and/or adjust instrument assemblies and/or subassemblies which may or may not have complete documentation or detailed finalized design information.
* Follow method sheet instructions as designed. Follow material handling procedures to assure proper signaling is done to prevent part shortages.
* Perform quality inspection as prescribed by method sheets. Responsible for pulling customer spare parts orders accurately while ensuring all ship dates are met.
* Assemble kit assemblies as directed. Responsible for packaging and shipping of customer orders.
* Occasionally the performance of other duties as deemed necessary by business conditions as required.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum high school education or equivalent.
* Demonstrated computer experience required. Demonstrated ability to solder.
* Heavy lifting required up to 65 pounds. Knowledge and use of hand tools.
* Must be able to read blueprints.
