What You Will Do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. This internship will be approximately 10 - 12 weeks that includes both project- based and experiential learning. In conjunction with the project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and various networking events.
Operations is one of three foundational functions at Amgen with a mission to manufacture and deliver safe and effective medicine to patients around the world. Operations are divided into the following five sub- functions: Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities & Engineering.
We are currently seeking highly motivated, hardworking individuals who will lead initiatives, strategic analysis, and business case development on cross-functional projects. Your contributions will help deliver Amgen's new advanced technology assembly and packaging site in Ohio.
During this program, you will focus on making effective recommendations to the organization's senior leadership. Responsibilities may include:
Develop a project charter to map out objectives, identify key stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
Leveraging your analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, you will work cross-functionally to identify the problem, measure the current state, develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and present the findings through various forums including an intern-wide poster session and a final readout to executive management

A commissioning senior project engineer reports to a team leader and is responsible for the delivery and execution of our professional services tasks for equipment in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems.
Primary activities include completing office assignments, time and expense management, in-field installation validation, field observation reports and meeting notes, functional performance testing, on-site and factory witness testing, writing of reports and meeting notes, submittal reviews, and design documentation evaluation.
Additional activities include executing target billable hours, managing tasks within time budgeted, leading Cx meetings, assisting the construction team with identifying/solving technical issues when they arise, and interpreting contract documents to predict scope gaps, maximize opportunities to provide value for clients, and reduce risk.
Administrative activities include supporting the team leader in coordinating weekly staff scheduling, training/mentoring team members on proper documentation, field procedures, and equipment usage, participating in and leading sessions of the company-wide developmental safety and training programs, and supporting revenue targets and quality assurance goals by expanding relationships with existing clients.
Candidate must be able to travel to and from various job sites within the assigned region.
Requirements:
Completed a bachelors degree in HVACR, mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management or an associates degree in engineering technology or related trade school, construction, maintenance, or engineering controls experience
P.E., LEED AP, or CCP a plus
7+ years employment in a staff or intern position related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls or 3+ years in the Cx industry
5+ years of experience managing the interconnectivity of building equipment including pumps, fans, motors, air ventilation, chillers, boilers, steam distribution, heat absorption, building automation systems, optimization techniques, electrical distribution, fire alarm, variable refrigerant flow, and waste-water systems.
Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, bid process, and ancillary industry documents
Aptitude to solve problems independently and in a team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills

What You Will Do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. During this program, you will [support strategic exploration of artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities within the Access & Evidence Generation ecosystem. This internship will focus on identifying, structuring, and prioritizing AI use cases across real-world evidence (RWE), payer evidence generation, evidence operations, evidence strategic planning and performance management. The intern will conduct a structured assessment of current-state processes and future-state opportunities, developing end-to-end AI use case scenarios and associated business cases. This role is conceptual and strategic in nature and does not require model development or software engineering. It is well suited for a graduate student with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and interest in applied AI in a regulated life sciences environment].
Assess the current state of Access & Evidence Generation processes, including RWE generation, payer evidence, evidence operations, and strategic planning.
Identify and articulate AI opportunity areas across the evidence lifecycle (e.g., automation, augmentation, decision support, optimization).
Develop end-to-end AI use case scenarios, including: Problem statement and business context, Target users and workflows
AI capability description (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, decision intelligence)
Expected value and outcomes
Assumptions, dependencies, and constraints
Create business cases for proposed AI use cases, including: Value drivers (efficiency, quality, scalability, decision impact)
Qualitative and, where possible, quantitative benefit estimates
High-level feasibility and risk considerations (data, governance, compliance)
Conduct use case prioritization based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Synthesize findings into clear, executive-ready deliverables, including written analyses and presentation materials.

Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (CPP) is an integrated part of the Global Development organization within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Members of CPP work in cross-disciplinary compound development teams and apply Clinical Pharmacology principles and pharmacometrics methodologies across the R&D portfolio to enable optimal decision-making in drug development.
The CPP Summer Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for students passionate about drug development to collaborate with clinical pharmacologists and pharmacometricians and gain hands-on experience in CPP principles, including pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), translational modeling, and model-informed drug development (MIDD) within a dynamic pharmaceutical R&D environment.
Our teams leverage students' academic backgrounds while fostering their professional development, providing firsthand experience in drug development and an opportunity to evaluate the student's potential for future employment.
CPP summer interns will contribute to diverse Research and Development efforts spanning preclinical to early- and late-stage clinical development, through activities such as:
* Clinical Pharmacology and Medical literature review
* Data analysis of PK, biomarker, preclinical and/or clinical data, trial design, etc.
* PK and PD model-building and analyses
* Development of computer programs or state-of-the-art quantitative methodologies (e.g., population PK/PD, quantitative systems pharmacology [QSP])
* Model based meta-analysis (MBMA), advanced data visualization (e.g., RShiny), and machine learning applications integrating publicly reported and in-house data
* Therapeutic areas of immunology, oncology, neuroscience, cardiopulmonary and metabolic diseases
Qualifications
* Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university (not necessarily taking classes) pursuing a MS, PharmD, PhD, MD or similar degree in a life sciences-related discipline such as Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular or Computational biology, Biophysics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Medicine.
* Candidates should demonstrate computational proficiency, including experience with data analysis, modeling, and simulation tools such as NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, R, Python, or MATLAB.
* Candidates must be available to work full-time for at least 12 weeks between May - September 2026.
