The SalesRepresentative implements tactics as defined by the Marketing and Sales plans. They deliver balanced sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers with a defined frequency. In the assigned territory, the SalesRepresentative will utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience. They engage in effective business planning, calling on customers including a variety of healthcare practitioners. The SalesRepresentative will plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action. Increased product sales will result from the SalesRepresentative's effective efforts. Administration of territory information and compliance to reporting and regulatory requirements is imperative. Participation in training, conference calls and meetings is essential.
Essential Functions:
Achieve all product sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment (territory).
Distribute samples and record sample transactions in accordance with Company Policy and PDMA guidelines.
Develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials.
Maintain proficient knowledge of promoted product disease states and indications.
Deliver proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers with a frequency based on assigned call goals.
Implement the Amneal selling model and process principles, including the DiSC personality profile when engaging with customers.
Complete pre and post call analysis which positively impacts customer interactions.
Regularly review and analyze all available sales data and utilize developmental budget funds
Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory.
Complete administrative reports and meet related deadlines.
Ensure proper safeguarding and care for company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle. etc.).
Maintain a call average of 8 or more calls per day, 40 or more calls per week, defined as face-to-face interactions, with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers.
Enter calls immediately into Veeva System via iPad and check/respond to email daily.

Education:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field - Required
Experience:
1 year or of successful outside sales experience required; Life science industry experience preferred

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II, has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The sales specialist is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull-through activities. Job Responsibilities
* Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.
* Effectively uses assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customizes discussions and client interactions based on customer's needs in a compliant and ethical manner
* Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers. Routinely shares such information with relevant internal Intra-Cellular stakeholders.
* Provides input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region. Identifies and selects programs/resources available and appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
* Works with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
* Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing of best practices.
* Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
* Effectively inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
* Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Job Requirements
* 2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales required; 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred

* Must have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as well as a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience in formulation, excipients, or pharmaceutical product development within the life sciences, pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.
2+ years in a customer-facing technical or commercial role (e.g., sales, technical applications, business development).
Working knowledge of formulation development principles for biologics and small molecule dosages forms, including regulatory considerations.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, storytelling, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field, e.g. Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science.
Experience with cGMP drug product development, manufacturing, and downstream processing.

Required qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree
* A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States
* A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military
* Ability to problem solve
* Ability to travel, which may include overnight/weekend travel, up to 30% of the time
* Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography
Preferred qualifications:
* A proven track record of success and ability to influence and impact key stakeholders in a dynamic, complex and competitive selling environment.
* Specialty sales experience in and understanding of related therapeutic area

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will:
* Drive demand generation of Invega through clinical selling and product differentiation with approved clinical studies and marketing aids to support the case for adoption. Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment.
* Possess the understanding and ability to sell in different settings of care and identify key business opportunities within these settings. Develop and implement customer specific pre and post call selling approaches that evaluate and address the practitioners' perspectives and the institutions philosophies within compliance guidelines
