AMP Robotics is working to make the world a better place, one robot at a time. Through a combination of the latest advancements in AI and robotics, the company is striving to change the recycling industry to make it more efficient and sustainable. By shifting the economics of recycling, the company is working toward a better, brighter future.

With the help of breakthrough technology, AMP has figured out how to automate identifying, sorting and navigating complex waste streams. The company is a part of the quaint Louisville downtown scene in Colorado. Right in the middle of the tech park, there's also a nearby brewery and climbing gym.

Diving Into the Values at AMP Robotics

The team at AMP is driven by productivity. That's at the center of their business and drives their goal of solving the most complicated industrial challenges, improving efficiency for their customers and reducing waste.

Innovating productivity.
That's the company's mantra. It explains what they believe in accomplishing and what they strive to instill in every new hire.

The Team at AMP Robotics

Put the AMP in Champion

The AMP team is committed to finding what department suits you best to ensure you're an effortless fit. Whether you're passionate about AI, robotics, the environment, recycling or the circular economy, they've got you. The best part about being on this team, aside from helping preserve resources and protect our planet, is the company's collaborative culture. You'll find that team members are constantly communicating with one another to come up with new ideas and make decisions.

"Innovation can come from any level. I try to provide the 30,000-feet view of the problem to solve and why it is important to the company's direction and success. I find this enables team members to look beyond the next steps, pairing perspectives to reach new and creative solutions," said Mark Baybutt, VP of Product.

The Culture at AMP Robotics

On the Brink of Amplifying Recycling

The company is growing rapidly, and to keep up with demand they've had to broaden the organization. AMP is working to maintain a consistent culture through this growth while still setting the stage to allow the company to scale.

The team holds weekly stand-up meetings to ensure everyone, across different roles and functions, is up to speed on the company's latest updates and strategic direction. At AMP's office, you'll find open doors where employees are encouraged to pop their heads in to ask questions or simply say hello.

A recent project the team was working on involved increasing the specificity and granularity of data the company collects about the waste stream. They're cataloging the specific materials that go through a recycling facility and turning it into information operators can use to run their facilities more efficiently. "This level of real-time operational insight has not been available previously; it is exciting to build entirely new capabilities to positively impact the recycling industry," added Baybutt, VP of Product. It's this type of cutting-edge project that you can look forward to at AMP.

To facilitate team-building and ongoing learning, AMP invests in a company lunch every week. Some of the lunches are "lunch-and-learns." These lunches are dedicated specifically for an employee to give a presentation on a technical or business topic. On special occasions, the presentation will deviate from a topic related to AMP and instead will be about something the employee is passionate about. The other regular lunches are just a simple way to get everyone together so they can socialize.
