Pros of working at Ampacet

Pay is actually pretty good

Cons of working at Ampacet

Mandatory 2 week swing shift. There is rampant racism. Open hostility (loud verbal attacks) from multiple shift supervisor’s is common. Supervisors are not “working” men. Forced weekend overtime is routine. Such a dirty job you will absolutely have to take a shower every day before you leave the plant.

What do you like best about Ampacet's CEO and the leadership team?

I dont know much about the CEO. Headquartered in Europe. I never had the chance to communicate with him

How would you improve Ampacet's culture?

I would completely overhaul the training process. Many of the problems in the plant stem from an overall lack of understanding about the “big picture”. No one teaches anything.

How did you prepare for the Ampacet interview?

It was 12 years ago, so i dont really remember. But really, if tou dont know someone who works there, you arent getting an interview anyway

How does your compensation at Ampacet compare to the industry average?

its good. Starts at a good rate and increases quickly the first two years

What's the diversity at Ampacet like?

its pathetic. and there is no interest by anyone in leadership to change it. There is constant use of super discriminatory language buy leadership and staff

What brings you the most joy at Ampacet?

Taking a shower and going home
