Duties/Responsibilities Perform general and preventive maintenance work on shop equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics on manual and CNC machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals, basic prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Troubleshoot and repair machines and general operational problems. Manage general facility upkeep (including grass cutting and snow removal). Monitor inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies, reordering as needed. Manage all recycling activities for paper and cardboard according to procedures. The primary responsibility of the Polisher is to safely perform a variety of finishing functions such as precision smoothing, grinding, deburring, and polishing stainless steel to a range of finishes. Duties/Responsibilities Operate hand and pedestal polishing/grinding machine to achieve required finish on stainless steel pump components. Operate hoist, cranes, pallet jacks, etc., to move equipment from one location to another. Review sequence of steps for each job and complete in a timely manner.
